Good, yet flawed monitor.
So I was looking for a small 2K USB powered monitor. This 13.3" IPS display looked perfect. As described in the listing, the case is made of aluminum, not plastic which is nice. That said, it's quite thin aluminum, so it's not indestructible, but definitely should hold up better in the long term. Price seems good, but I do wish it had normal HDMI ports rather than the mini-HDMI. The included HDMI to mini-HDMI cable is male on both ends so I had to buy an adapter to connect my ACEPC (PC on a stick) to this. Surprisingly, the included USB cable for powering the screen is much higher quality than I expected. I do wish the connector was USB-C rather than micro-USB as micro-USB tends to be more fragile. Hopefully it holds up to repeated insertions and the inevitable tugging that will happen since the cables stick out from the side. That said, there are a few things you should be aware of:1a. The "case" that comes with is junk and you should just throw it away. It's supposed to double as a stand so you don't have to lay it flat on the ground, but it's really flimsy and the screen will fall down if you look at it funny. You'll need something else to prop it up and then it gets in the way of a real stand. The good news is you can easily remove it via two thumb screws.1b. Also the case covers the speaker holes in the back of the case which probably explains why some people complain about the speakers being hard to hear. The amusing thing is that there are holes in the case for the speakers... just that they are in the wrong location. Maybe this case was originally designed for a different monitor?2. My unit came with no manual. So I don't really have much idea what the buttons on the side do. I tried googling "kenowa monitor" and can't find the mfg website to download the manual so I guess I'll just have to play with it and guess.3. My unit came in a generic box and the monitor itself was wrapped in bubble wrap. The accessories were wrapped in bubble wrap too. Looks like even though I bought a "new" monitor I was sent a refurb/used monitor.4. No markings for UL, CE, etc for safety. It's only powered by 5V, so hopefully it's not dangerous, but for something costing ~$160 at least pretend you did some basic certification.5. Apparently you can also power this via 12V. But since there is no manual and no markings, I don't know for sure if tip is positive or negative and I don't want to risk chancing there isn't reverse polarity protection and killing it so I guess I'll never try powering it via 12V.So I ended up buying a $10 stand, a $12 neoprene case and a $7 HDMI adapter off Amazon and now I've got a pretty decent setup. But now you're adding over $25 to the price so it's not as good of a deal as it first seems.Honestly, the monitor itself seems fine and at the end of the day the other problems are mostly solvable. Does it have accurate colors for photo editing? Of course not. You can power it off a USB battery pack assuming it supports 2.4A output or if you're using as a second monitor it can plug into your computer USB port (assuming it also supports 2.4A out).

Works with the right power supply
The USB power supply that came with the unit was intermittent. The screen would flick off and on a couple times per minute as the power supply had hiccups. Replaced it with another USB power supply with the same specs (2A @ 5V) and then it worked fine.Working Raspberry Pi /boot/config.txt settings required to display the higher 2560x1440 resolution supported by the 13.3" monitor:hdmi_group=2hdmi_mode=87hdmi_cvt=2560 1440 60 3 0 0 1max_framebuffer_width=2560max_framebuffer_height=1440hdmi_pixel_freq_limit=400000000

One of cheap products...
I was working okay as a second monitor for my laptop. I was annoyed by a case that's supposed to be worked as a stand. Cables that came with the monitor were cheaply made, also. It got broken and I needed to buy a new cable. Then, right after 13 months, the monitor itself was broken. It's done. "Kenowa" doesn't have any customer support. There is no website for the company. My conclusion is you get what you pay. At least, it worked okay for 1 year. I won't' recommend this product to others. It's better to pay extra money for a better product of a reliable company.

Good screen, lightweight, USB powered
Nice monitor, its light weight and easy quick to setup. However there were marks under the screen. Vendor was helpful and amazon refunded after return. Ended up getting a screen that had touchscreen functionality so I could use with Samsung Dex
