Tdk cassette tape premium label Ma110 Review: As advertised - great tape Review: It Doesn't Get Any Better Than This.......... - This metal tape gives top of the line sound reproduction, the highs and lows are outstanding. As far as cassette tapes go it doesn't get any better than this. The tape case is attractive and solidly built. Recorded some reggae music on this and the drum and bass is awesome. The difference in sound vs. high bias is marginal but is still noticeable to an audiophile. I would not recommend investing in metal tapes unless you can find a bargain. I've checked the prices and they are way out there! Final note: Depending on your recording needs, type 1 tapes are quite good for everyday recording although the quality varies from brand to brand.

This is a high end tape for high end analog machines!
The two best brands of tape were and still are Maxell and TDK for cassette tapes. I have used both and both deliver superb performance. If you use either one, you can be certain both will deliver the performance you desire. I stand behind this type of tape for the best performance and when it comes to performance it will deliver that performance provided you have the equipment to take advantage of it. All points matter. Media is important to acheive this and metal type tape, type 4, is the best for all produced! If you want the best, buy the best!

High quality tape, but you pay for the priveledge
Cassette arrive in “new” shrink wrapped condition and is well made and records and plays back as you would expect from a metal tape recorded on a high end deck.

Best tape to get
I needed a new type IV tape since my last one had seen better days. Metal tapes are the best to get for sound reproduction.

Know what your getting into!
Buyer be aware!! This is a warning to buyers that do not understand this product. This is an excellent choice for an audio file that wants to record close to CD quality audio. The metal Bias is the only tape format that will get you that clarity AND is able to capture the full 20hz to 20khz frequency range. BUT you must understand that you must have or need to purchase an audio tape deck that is able to record using this media format. They are extremely rare and very expensive. Any run of the mill cassette recorder will not be able to utilize the full potential of the metal bias tape. As an audio file, I can tell you that it makes all the difference and the quality of recording is beautiful warm and Crystal clear. Also and very important! The 90 min metal tapes are the most durable, anything more and you risk the tape getting stretched and/or eaten by the player. I have a ton of 110’s and 120’s that I’m very careful with. I make sure to pull in any slack before playing them. The metal tapes were expensive back then and they are VERY expensive now. Thanks for getting this far! Enjoy this rare and great product!
