An open and honest account to inspire trans and non-trans alike
I sat down to start this story and finished it faster than I would have liked! I’m grateful to Jay for sharing his experiences and opinions in such a raw, powerful way. I value the insight I gained as a non-trans individual to the struggles of the interstitial space experienced by trans individuals and how these struggles, accompanied by many joys, permeate their experience beyond the interstitial space. A powerful read for anyone and one that I would recommend to everyone. I eagerly await the sequel.

You need to read this book
Full disclosure: I am Jay Sennett's proud father. His has been an extraordinary journey and Moxie tells the story of that journey bravely and with great personal insight. If you have someone in your life who is FTM, or are FTM yourself, I urge you to read this. The world needs to hear more life stories from FTM folks, and Moxie is a good place to start.

Honest and heartfelt
I really enjoyed reading Jay’s essays. His personal experiences are shared with courage and acceptance reflected in spiritual growth. I bought the Kindle version because it was so easy. Now that I’ve enjoyed the read I’m going to purchase the paperback so I can share this collection with others-that they might learn and understand that transitioning is a human process. Thanks, Jay!P.S. I enjoyed the photography, too!

An amazing revelation into the transgender experience.
The transgender population has been a mystery to me. Although I've known transgender people, I've never felt the permission to ask the questions that this author so eloquently answers in this book. His writing is light and rich. There is a lot packed into this small volume. You'll walk away feeling much more intimate with the multitude of consequences one faces in what it means to be transgender. I felt that Jay could see the world from the perspectives of woman, man, gay, straight, privileged, marginalized, bullied and courageous trailblazer. It was a heartwarming and mind opening exploration for me and I hope to see many more volumes.

The true stiry of a trans experience...
True stories matter most. That makes reading more realistic feeling than one that is fiction(some of thise seem real, or we want them to be). But getting first hand thougjts from someone who has experienced and been through the topic at hand(whatever the topic is since each varies, but being trans and going through the whole transition),helps many people who have questions or jist curious about the process.

Poignant and Hilarious!
Another great book by author Jay Sennett!! Moxie remarkably captures the poignant and sometimes hilarious journey of a female to male transsexual traversing the rocky terrain that is gender politics.
