S11 11" Master Stock Prod

Works very well and batteries last a good long while

I can only review the prod that I received. Mine failed to deliver a shock, although it did produce a brief, very low (hard to hear) squeal when the operation button was first pressed. This sound diminished after a second or two. This result was repeated for the four or five times that I attempted to get it to work. I tested the prod against a stainless steel sink - no sparks produced. Then against my hand - no shock produced, nor any tingling. The prod was harmless. In regard to the battery compartment: the cap is held on by two (2) small screws, 180 degrees apart, one (1) on each side of the cap. These screws have a Philips head approximately 1/4" (0.25") in diameter with 1/4" (0.25") thread length and with 1/10" (0.10") outside diameter self tapping threads. Very, very small screws (0.25" x 0.25" x 0.10") - absolutely guaranteed to get lost - if you attempted to change/replace the 'C' batteries in the field. No spare screws are provided. Could the battery cap be kept in place by one screw - NOT FOR LONG, which is why two screws are utilized. The batteries provided with the device looked brand, spanking new, they were Eveready Alkaline batteries. However, I did not test them. They are shipped facing the wrong direction - "to prevent accidental discharge during shipping". So first thing, you must turn the batteries around to put the device in working order. That action determined to myself that I could NOT accept this product with it's very poorly designed battery compartment closure. The enclosed directions stress that these two screws should not be over tightened as that could damage the "treads" resulting in failure. The Cap must be closed at all times during use to provide a completed circuit as well as to keep the batteries in place. I returned my prod to Amazon for refund.

After much discussion about how bad the shock would be (used on goats, cows, pigs) I reasoned it couldn’t be that bad. The look and buzz are very scary. He zapped me on the left butt check. It’s a rolling, spiky shock, that stays localized about 3 inches where it's being used. For me it feels like a Tens Unit times 20. It does not damage the skin or leave a mark. I'd recommend this if you're into electrical play.D comments: this is a well made yet inexpensive tool that delivers. The sound it makes when you press the button is very intimidating and gets an immediate response from my girl. I highly recommend this prod.

Loses a star bc there's a chunk of something rattling around inside there. kinda ironic having that proud-but-ill-fitting "Made in USA" sticker on there while loose parts rattle around inside it. regardless, my subs are all terrified of it so it's still a net positive.Far as personal experiences so far, It feels like a thousand angry spiders are ripping your skin open. so they can pour fire in there. A+, would get shocked by it again.

I bought this as a gift for my Sir and he loved it. I was a little nervous about it, but it was not as bad as I thought it would be, although it did create quite a jump. Did not leave any marks on my skin and the sting only lasted a few seconds, it was great. I am more afraid of a 9v on my tongue. The only down side I saw was that the battery compartment top kind of pops off and is a tad difficult to put back on as it seems to keep trying to spring open, but hopefully in time with use it will loosen up some. The transaction went smoothly and it arrived within the week of ordering it. A great item to help spice things up and to keep your sub in line.

Fairly effective but I the batteries didn’t work upon arrival. The product advertisement stated batteries came with product. I assumed they would be in working order.

Bought it to break my dogs up when they fight.. i destroyed two fingers one on each hand pulling my beloved pitbulls apart when the older one jumps the younger one.. My younger one responds well to his shock collar this should do the trick as well for my older agressor.. It has a decent bite and will definitely get their attention.. I may have to put it on their jaw line at their jaw hinge or snout between their nose and eyes but Im VERY CONFIDENT!! Uses 2 C batteries keep an extra set handy!!!

Never got the product to work properly. Sometimes it would work, sometimes not at all. I have 10 100+ lb dogs who occasionally get in some pretty intense fights and I wanted to use this to help break up the fights instead of me grabbing the dogs. So for this Master Shock Prod to only work intermittently was totally unacceptable. I tested the batteries to insure that they were fresh so I know that this was not the issue. When you press the button you should hear a slight buzzing sound, that's one of the ways you know it's working. By applying the prod to the dog, pressing the button and getting a reaction from the dog is the other way you know it's working. Half the time I got the former result, I never got the latter result.I returned this Parker McCrory Shock Prod for a refund and am continuing to look for another similar product.
