I am disappointed but not in the content of this book so I will not detract from it's rating, however, I purchased it Kindle thinking I could "read" it on my Smart TV so I could easily follow along with the instruction steps. I cannot get it to download to the Cloud Reader (Kindle) on the web browser on the TV or cloud reader on any of my other devices. I also have not found a way for screen mirror from my iPhone, iPad or Mac Cloud Kindle like I do with YouTube to see it on the larger screen. Since the nature of the book is paint along instruction, it would be nice to use the larger screen.

Very comprehensive book for its size. Especially liked the information on using Hookers Green to make you other greens.

This is the most informative book I have read for a beginner. I was a professor and artist for 40 yrs. [woodworker and sculptor]. I’m taking up watercolor as a new challenge in my late seventies. I could see a series of more books by well known painters who are willing to share their tips and ideas. Charles and your staff are to be commended for such an informative book. It’s grrrrrrreat!

This is a perfect “how to” watercolor book to put in your travel bag to take to paint anywhere. There are simple tips and tricks that Charles uses and teaches in his tutorials. It’s a perfect little book to add to your watercolor library and the small size is what sets it apart.

I love this little book. It's small but the how to's are big. Clear explanations with visual references. I watch him on YouTube all the time. He's a very good teacher and artist..

The straightforward suggestions and examples are very practical and useful. Mr Evan’s suggestions for color, and color mixing, is also practical.

This book have met all my espectation and beyond.....Mr Evans is actually one of my favorite British watercolorist.... This book is an amazing tutorial, compact but abundant in tricks and techniques. if someone need to improve his watercolors skills, need to get it.

Such a great artist. East to use, and you can see him do some of the work on YouTube as well.

This is a great little book, I've bought a few watercolour for beginner books recently, wish I had bought this one first, lots of really helpful tips, even how to use brushes, colour mixing, would reccomend.

This is a very good book as a reference tool. Using a limited palette and a few brushes, you do not need a lot of equipment to make a nice painting. Very easy tips on painting trees, and skies and blending paint, etc. Please note that these tips are mainly for painting landscapes. There is a lot of information packed into this little book that you could adapt to your own style.

A small pocket book full of tips and hints. An excellent source of reference material. The information is presented in concise and useful manner. I love this book an would highly recommend it to anyone

I was very pleased with this book, it is very informative for a complete beginner like myself. Charles Evans is a very good tutor.

As I am working my way through Charles Evans Boats and Harbours book, I thought this Pocket Book would help me in improving my Watercolour techniques, I am not disappointed, a very very useful tutorial book from Charles, easily explained.I have to say that the quality of this book is great, doesn't feel like a Paperback.
