Pear Wood Hand Carved Tobacco Smoking Pipe"Nordic" + Pouch

This is my second review of the pipes I bought. I have a question.I have smoked one three times. The metallic circular attachment fell off of the bowl.is this common? What should I use to secure it back in place? The hole in the side of thebowl seems precarious at best. Thanks.

I have received the same type of pipe twice in a row,each one of them cracked after i lit it,they over heat and crack after one use which shows that they are defective merchandise.
