The Beret is a 100% Pure Wool and is leather banded. This Beret is preferred by many members of the UK's British Military as a replacement for the ones issued for United Nations Peace Keeping Duties. Badge as per original item, quality of the beret vastly superior to my original UK issue, 50 years ago! However, by United Nations Day in October, or Remembrance Day in November 2020, there will probably not be any parades, so I could have stayed with my old Moth's Relish UN Beret and battered badge. Still, Semper Paratus!

Try before you buy.
The badge is very good. The beret is not of military quality. The crown (top) is too small and does not allow for it to be pulled down over the right ear.
