I love everything about this brush! The longer handle helps with reaching your back. The bristles are not hard enough to hurt. They are Goldilocks "just right"

I purchased this brush to use as a wet brush in the shower. I needed the brush to be plastic with 100% natural bristles. The wooden brushes that I had been using were less sanitary because they absorbed moisture and weren't as easily cleaned. This brush fit the bill perfectly.The first thing I noticed about this brush was the craftsmanship. The construction is very solid and the bristles are firmly rooted in the brush; if a bristle has ever fallen out, I haven't seen it. From handle-to-head, the brush is just shy of eleven inches long.My first impression upon actually using the brush was that it was way too harsh. I had to be extremely gentle during the first use. With the bristles being so solidly rooted in the brush, there is not much give and the bristles don't move very much as they are being rubbed against the skin. However, I found that after the about three uses, the bristles gained more flexibility and I'm now able to use the brush with more force. After each use, my skin is left feeling soft and brand new. I do not buy scrubs or use any other type of exfoliation method. This brush is all I need.My only actual complaint is the design of the handle, which explains my four-star rating. Because the handle is curved, has a groove going up the center, and is made of hard plastic, the brush can be tricky to keep hold of when using it in the shower. I have never dropped it, but it constantly slips out of position when in use and I have to adjust my grip on the handle so that it is tighter and the brush is in the correct position again. I can imagine that people with gripping issues or very small hands would struggle if used when wet. If the handle of this brush were more ergonomic, it would be absolutely perfect.

Bass produces quality brushes. My cheap bath brush was so soft bristled it was useless. The shorter handle is a plus for me. I can reach every inch of my back. I never had acne On my back till recently and I found out it was due to oily hair conditioner collecting on my back. So now I condition my hair and rinse thoroughly before I scrub my back. Acne problem solved.

This is a quality bath brush. The bristles are a bit hard, but will soften when watered down. The handle may be suitable for larger hands, it is a bit awkward to hold the handle for me, otherwise, the length is perfect.

Pricey but good quality boars Head. I've been using it for at least three weeks regularly and haven't noticed any shedding of the bristles. Also feels solid and not at all flimsy

The brush size, weight, and bristle firmness are perfect for dry brushing and shower. Unfortunately, a few of the bristles fell out during the first use. I am still going to rebuy and hope that was just an issue with the one brush purchased.

I have been looking for a nice natural bristled brush for dry brushing as I have KP that I'm trying to get under control. I didn't want something that would fall apart quickly nor something to hard or soft. This brush is absolutely perfect. It is very well made. The bristles do not have the white plastic piece to hold them in place like other cheaper made brushes. The bristles are attached directly into the very well made handle and it feels nice to hold in the hand. I have been using it for a couple days now and I am very happy with this purchase.

It is so stiff it feels like it's scratching my skin off.
