A good buy!
I'm an avid lover of olive oils with years of experience. Olive oil is a pantry staple that I almost use daily.Olive oil has three enemies: oxygen, light, and heat. When exposed to those elements, the oil will turn rancid more quickly. The best way to prevent this (and extend your oil's shelf life) is proper storage. The extra virgin olive oil should be kept in a dark-colored glass bottle, which helps to keep out the light, or in a stainless steel container. This will protect the oil from exposure to sunlight. Colavita’s extra virgin olive oil bottle has won five stars for being dark and luxurious. This extra-virgin olive oil has a noticeably dark color and tastes little bit bitter and pungent with notes of pepper and dark chocolate without sugar. The color and taste differential however, varies from brand to brand, and it is deceptive. I have compared this with one another top brand olive oil sourced from Tunisia. I took a blind eye test and there was not much difference to tell. This bottle has a “certified authentic, product of Italy” tag. The way to figure out if a bottle of olive oil is actually from Italy is to see if the label says "produced" and "bottled" in Italy on the label. If it, however, says "produced bottled" it could mean that it was simply bottled there. Unfortunately there was a barcode sticker pasted on the bottle hiding all of it’s essential information (I don’t know when Amazon will stop pasting these ugly and useless barcode stickers which are impossible to remove). Consequently I am not certain about it’s source or produce. The extra virgin olive oils do not mature with time in fact their quality deteriorates very quickly over time. This bottle that I have received, through seller Olympia Industries, is in it’s middle age.My conclusion in a nutshell is that this extra virgin olive oil has a very pleasant taste, color and aroma, and looks very premium in a dark green glass bottle.

Quality
It's quality is pure as I am using olive oil for the past 8 years, the only draw back is it's price, only very rich people can afford it.

Fair enough
Colavita is pricing it's extra Virgin olive oil too much but it is not on that standard compared to its pricing
