These suction cups are of excellent quality and they grab like crazy. However, I have a special use for these and would like to talk to the manufacturer concerning a potential modification for my use. Best suction hooks I’ve found thus far and I have a feeling I’ll be having these for awhile. The intial suction is incredible compared to what I was used to, cheap normal suction cups. These are really designed to work well and last.

I bought these suction hooks so that I could mount a 15 lbs Christmas wreath on the outside of my large front window. I reside in Florida so weather isn’t a factor. The description states that they can hold between 12-20 lbs. When I first attached them to the window, the suction was excellent and it stayed in place. A few hours later when I checked on it, the weight of the wreath had pulled it down to the bottom of the window, but the suction held. I had to use both suction hooks, along with 1 additional stick on hook to keep it in place. When I removed the suctions, one of them came off easily when I pushed the button, but the second one needed to be pushed a few times, and pulled in order to come off the window. Pretty decent product, just not as strong as advertised.

New Review:These continue to be amazing hooks. In the year+ they’ve been used, they have only popped off the bathroom wall and front glass door a couple of times. The front door hook is exposed to all kinds of weather and temperature changes, so I would have thought the weather variations would have caused it to lose suction. No, I put them right back up, and they stay for many more months.Previous review:Too many stick-on hooks don’t work: These do!!!One has been suctioned in the front outdoor glass door, holding up a wreath - and it’s now been there for 2 1/2 MONTHS!! The other was applied to a bathroom sheetrock wall, used as A towel hanger. This one popped off wall once or twice. The color goes well with rubbed bronze bathroom faucet.Would buy these again.

I actually put these two clips on the back of my smooth, painted bathroom door. It holds robes and pjs when showering Hooks are holding firm with no problem at all. What is nice, I can remove with no damage to the paint or the door . I know this, because at first I installed too low, then removed to raise higher on the door. I put my fingernails behind the suction, they took a little tug but caused no damage. When reinstalled, they are holding beautifully.

Not so heavy duty, and if you need to hang something in the bathroom the condensation from the steam will make it fall. I did follow the weight requirements.

I purchased three different type of heavy duty suction cups to compare I was very excited about these for their esthetics and stated strength. Unfortunately they are the only ones that failed. They would not stay fastened to my surface. They also left a weird ring on my paint when they fell off.

I purchased a new Buick enclave recently. Nice car but no hooks for a clothes rod in the back. Buick had no solution and neither did GM. I started looking online and thought I would give these a try. Made a trip recently and tried them for the first time. I stuck them to the rear windows in the back. They worked great. Rod did not fall down once. Poor design to be a Buick, but these solved the problem.
