Wheelskins
I've used Wheelskins products for a number of years now. I've done 5 vehicles over the years, the last being a new Chevrolet Silverado. I would rate this product with 5 stars, but the company has a habit of undersizing the covers. Be sure you measure your steering wheel rim thickness and just do not blindly use the wheelskin vehicle model chart. As I have said, the chart in two cases provided covers that were undersized for the steering wheel I installed it on. The first time, I tried to make the product work, and after a year I threw the cover away, wheelskin would not exchange it, so I bought and installed a wider cover. On my most recent installation, I knew better and ordered the next wider size up from the recommendation and it fits perfectly. I informed the wheelskin company of this problem, and they have taken no action.Allow at least an hour for installation, and the installer needs to have the strength to pull the stitching tight and hold it tight while making the next stitch. Thin gloves might help as the thread will tear the skin of the pinkie fingers of both hands while pulling the thread tight. When installed properly, it looks almost factory. I am very happy with this product, except again, for the sizing issue.

OK, but ....
The steering wheel cover purchased is of high quality material (soft, durable, smooth texture, matching color). However, it is not custom designed for a particular steering wheel (designed by wheel diameter and diameter of the steering ring itself). Design does not take into account the number and width of the steering wheel spokes, therefore leaving sections of the wheel cover not secured around the steering wheel ring by the leather wrapping/tie string. Also, shipping/handling cost was quite high, compared to the value and size of the product.

My God, that was hard to do
3 weeks later & my wrist is still hurting. Instructions say it should take an hour to do. Don't believe it. Mine took 3 1/4 hour to do. Yeah, I know you should have to pull some to get the edges together, but f***, you shouldn't have to struggle like I did to get them together. And it was so hard to pull together, there are numerous places where I just couldn't get the edges to come together so there's a gap.Hey manufacturer! All you would have had to do to make this install better & still be tight would have been to increase the width 1/8 inch. Just 1/8 inch! How much extra would that have cost you? 10 cents? You have no idea how I struggled to pull the edges together. Damn!
O**.
None Better
Note quite stock but looks great, fits tight on my 2006 Mustang. Yes it takes a while to install; do it when you have the time and patience; don't rush it! The only way to do better is with a custom wheel at ten times the price.

Beware of size and craftsmanship for the price
Brief:* Mediocre craftsmanship (for the price you would expect a superior product)* Good smooth and thick leather* Undersized (you need to go one size up from what the tool suggests)* Good customer service experience* Wear leather gloves during installation (not optional it is a must to protect your hands)* Instructions gave only one type of stitching choice* Kit comes with only one needleI chose the Euro perf product which allows to choose which portion of the cover will have the hole patterns. Color: all black.I intended to buy this product on Amazon, but opted to buy directly from Wheelskins because they provide a little size calculator tool on their web site. Having installed over the years several covers on 3 different vehicles I am well aware that sizing really matters for a professional end result. I should have read other reviews on this product more carefully. As a 4 star reviewer pointed out, the tool on the web site will select a size that is undersized for your car. In my case the leather was undersized by 1/8" to 1/4". Why this range? Because despite the fact the leather is thicker than other brands, the craftsmanship left much to be desired with the cover I received. The edges were not straight and the width varied from 3.375" to 3.5. It should have been 3.625 at a minimum and 3.75 would have been perfect (the circumference of the grip is 3 7/8" on my car). So I had to unglue all the edges and reglue them in a straight fashion and with a smaller fold to increase the width of the cover to 3.625". I could not go beyond that because there was not enough leather. So I was able to stitch the cover to a closed seam on most of the steering wheel except for a 2" section where there is a 1/32" gap I could not close due to lack of leather when I reglued the edges (there was just too much to make up as the width of the cover at that point was below 3.5" originally.I wore leather gloves to protect my hands and obtain a good grip during the stitching process.I e-mailed the company to get a second spool and needle, and they promptly sent it to me at no cost. That was great. But I wish they had included instructions with more stitching choices. I did not like the stitching they suggested in the instructions and I used a factory stitching requiring 2 needles and providing a cross pattern that is much stronger and better when You need to stretch that leather to close the gap at the seam. That stitching also had the advantage of having dummy stitches on both sides of the cover when going around the spokes. The stitching provided with the instructions did not.In conclusion, I would not buy this kit again considering the price, the poor craftsmanship, and the sizing issue.
