The image is clear enough and the camera installed easily with Windows 7. I wish the lens was wider angle, I need to back at least 4 feet from the camera to stay consistently in the frame. I stopped using the built in mike because the volume was too low in skype, I have a stand-alone mike that works much better, but it cost more than the camera.

It's certianly not 50MP. I'm not sure it's even 5MP. No software.Colors are way way off. Everything is purple or purple pink. Adjusting that just makes it worse.The mic works okay, I suppose. It's not full of static so I suppose that's a plus.Does what's needed in a pinch when you want to see your loved ones' faces but it's not a good product by any stretch of the imagination.

It's mounted. It works fine. It came quickly. The price was right. What more could anyone ask? And we are happy.

I bought this camera to use as a videocam for skype calls.... the video quality is atrocious, rates 640x480 pixels, and advertizing misleading "Shows the high definition and true color images in network conference and video chat."

This is suppose to be a plug and play well in plugs in but DOES NOT PLAY. This cost too much even if they are giving it away. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY>

Low quality and low resolution. Don't buy it I wish I did not. If I had to summarize it in one word it would be cheap.

I was not impressed with the product. Gave to a thrift shop.
