Great Breakfast Tea
Great tea! First had it at The Venetian, and had to get it for at home.

Wonderful tea!
This makes a terrific cup of tea. There is a good smooth clean tea flavor, unlike so many brands of English Breakfast tea that don't have much flavor at all. There is no lingering bitterness, and I can drink it without milk or sugar added. It's a little pricy, but worth every penny for the taste and quality.

Good tea. Maybe not so eco friendly.
This is a classic English Breakfast - brewed for five minutes in water fresh off boil (at sea level) it has a hint of tannin, a hint of earthy sweetness, and a good tea nose. Milk and sweetener bring out the flavor. The teabags are nylon pyramids, and I'm never sure if those are really compostable. The bigger issue is that they are packaged in a mylar envelope, and that's one of the very few things that my city won't recycle.I have a few other teas from this company, loose in canisters, and I like them a lot. YMMV.

Terrific tea
My husband drinks his English Breakfast tea faithfully every day and doesn't like to stray from the brand he loves. I told him this would be extra amazing because it was created by a tea guru of sorts and that it was guaranteed to be next level. I finally got him to try it and thankfully, he was quite impressed. He said it is very flavorful and admitted that yes, maybe it is a little better than what he already drinks every day...this is huge praise coming from him. So yes, this is about double the price of what he normally buys, but at approximately ninety cents per packet for very high quality tea, I say it's worth it. The packets are aesthetically pleasing and it arrives in a cute box. I was disappointed that the shipping label that was attached to the box didn't pull off cleanly so it kind of ripped up what could be considered a gift-worthy box. All in all, if you are a tea lover, this is definitely worth giving a try and would certainly make a very nice gift for any tea-loving friend.

High quality, plastic-free teabags
These English breakfast teabags are really great. They brew up strong and robust and go perfectly with a splash of milk or on their own. They have a wonderful depth of flavor and you can tell they use high quality black tea in this product. As far as teabags go, these are great. High quality loose leaf tea, pyramid style teabags (made from soilon / completely plastic free). Nylon pyramid teabags can leach microplastics, so getting one that is plastic-free is very important to me.This tea has a nice caffeine kick and work as a good alternative to coffee, without causing excessive stimulation.Overall - these are excellent teabags. Maybe not the best value and they are certainly pricey, but they are certified organic, high quality pyramid-style teabags, and completely plastic free.

Not sure how this tea can be considered eco-friendly?
The first thing that struck me with this tea was the amount of packaging waste! I should have looked closer before ordering this item and assuming it was actually eco-friendly.First, It came in a huge box and each teabag was individually wrapped in plastic. I honestly couldn't fit the box in my cupboard based on the way it was packaged, so I ended up removing every teabag from the plastic and all of the bags easily fit into a small quart-sized storage container. I looked for information on the package and online to see if it might be made of bio-plastic or compostable...but I didn't find any. So I assume it was plastic. In addition, the bags are made of PLA, and claiming this is eco-friendly is essentially greenwashing. Sure, it's better than a nylon teabag. But it takes energy to create PLA, and even beyond that, most people are going to throw this into their garbage, and it will take a hundred years or more to decompose. Loose-leaf tea or paper teabags which can be home composted are MUCH better for the environment. So using a slightly less harmful packaging method and calling yourself eco-friendly is a stretch. The tea itself is good, but there are a lot of good black teas out there that don't involve nearly as much waste, and are much more affordable to boot.

This one is just okay
I was impressed with another Art of Tea variety but this one is just okay. It tastes like a good-quality black tea, but I have tried others that cost less than this and which I enjoy more. It's totally fine, but pricey for what you get.
