TravelCross Luggage 4 Piece Set Expandable w/ TSA lock and Global Tracking System

When the luggage arrived the medium size suitcase had scratches on the locking mechanism. We didn't have time to send it back and get a replacement before our trip so we just went with it. The material seemed very thin, so I was interested to see how it held up to the baggage handling through three airports. The suitcases were spacious, holding a lot. The fact that they are lightweight, meant we could pack more and not be over the weight limit.I liked the idea of the built in locks when I was shopping for luggage. They were easy to set. The zippers seemed lightweight so I was concerned they may break in the locks. They didn't. For the most part, the pieces held up pretty well. Unfortunately, the little carryon bag did not fair so well. It's handle fell apart on our way to our destination so it was unusable on the way back.For the price, the luggage is okay. It did the trick for our family vacation that wasn't too rigorous. If we were doing international travel or even a few more destinations, I wouldn't expect it to hold up.

I am recently back from a trip to Chicago - I used the carry-on size suitecase and the medium suit case. I had not problems and am quite happy with my purchase and the quality. I do have a little concern about the extended handle breaking on the carry on suit case only because it feels like it could...but it was put through some ringers on my trip and so far so good. If I ever needed another set - I would purchase this again. The only negative thing I have is the package it was shipped in - the package had holes in it and the wheels were sticking through some of the holes when it came to me, which caused concern as it meant the wheels took a lot of hit during delivery. Was thankful that they were not broken.

Obviously, for the price I paid I was not expecting high-end luggage. However, I was also not expecting luggage that looked like someone else had been using and abusing it for months (or even years). The first thing I noticed, before I even opened the box, was major damage to one of the wheels on the largest case. I am willing to concede that this could have been caused during shipping. However, three of the four pieces had damage, and since they were nested inside each other, it would be impossible to blame shipping for any of the other damage. The two smaller suitcases had locks with a plastic cover, and it appeared as though someone had taken some sort of sharp instrument and tried to destroy the lock on each of these cases. It did not effect the functionality of the locks, but it looked horrible, especially considering these were supposed to be new. The smallest bag was the only piece of the four which did not have some sort of damage. Again, for the price I wasn't expecting heirloom quality luggage; I just didn't expect to be purchasing damaged junk. I give it one star, only because there is no lower rating. Steer clear.

Honestly I ordered these suitcases because my old one broke 3 days before I had to travel and I hoped they were decent but they are pretty flimsy and unbalanced (not to mention the smell took 5 days to get out). I didn't even put anything in the front but the big and the medium bag kept falling over. The handle of the big bag isn't sturdy at all. The carryon can barely contain anything, and the only bag that's any good is the little cosmetic bag (awful amount of money to spend on a cosmetic bag). Lesson learned.

Surprisingly this is turning out to be a sturdy set of luggage. Within the last two years I had purchased 3 Samsonite suitcases for over $350 each and they all cracked and have broken. I decided to buy a less expensive set thinking if I had that issue with Samsonite that these couldn't be any worse. Well they turned out to be very nice. They are good looking, the spinners work great. The large suitcase is what you would want size wise and all are expandable. The other suitcases in the set are smaller but, with the current luggage restrictions weight wise, these hold the right amount for what is allowed on the airplanes. My luggage has to survive through planes, trains, cars, buses, and sometimes even trucks, so far these are holding up great and aren't looking beaten and worn.

It's a beautiful looking set. Very lightweight but the overall impression is that it feels flimsy. Expecting to use it on an international flight in a few weeks so I am hoping it can stand up to the airport abuse usually inflicted upon luggage by the handlers.UPDATE: Luggage held up well. The handle on the carry on got stuck a few times. Can topple if its top heavy so try to put heavier and bulky items on the bottom if possible. Overall it's fair quality considering the price.

I took the medium bag, and the small bag on vacation, two airplanes, total. Both bags were dented, and dirty. While, of course, I blame the airline for poor handling, I kind of expect that. But, these bags held up terribly. I can return them for a refund, but getting a box to fit them is a serious pain. Don't buy these.

I rated this 3 stars because you get what you pay for. Great price but it is not going to last years. Maybe a few trips as the large luggage broke on my first trip using these bags. The outside zipper compartment came completely detached. I'm thankful I didn't put anything in there. I think this is good luggage if you plan to be the only one handling. However, if you plan to fly or cruise where other people will be handling your luggage without care-it will be damaged in one way or another as it is not very sturdy.
