Works great for a kids desk

I use it on my nightstand and it holds all my little clutter, bookmarks, rings, coughdrops etc. The posable neck is fabulous for reading in bed and I love the color. And being able to charge my phone from it is genius!

I am giving this a good rating based on the assumption that it's for a kid. It's bright, and fairly light plastic, so I don't think it would be suitable for an adult's office, but it's great for my 7 year old son. We particularly like the charging port, but note that it is for a regular plug - it is not a USB port. He doesn't have a tablet right now, but I can see how it would be handy to be able to plug a tablet in, then use the base as a stand for the tablet. I docked a star for sturdiness and giftability just because it is pretty light - doesn't feel super substantial.

Just took it out of the box and it’s broken! Don’t care too much to return it and it’s nothing a little super glue or gorilla glue won’t fix. Overall still good for price. Maybe pack the item better...

I bought this product because I have a red themed room and needed a desk lamp, and there weren't any other red desk lamps available. I read the reviews and thought this was a risk, but I figured it'd be worth it. I received the item a first time and used it for about 2 hours, before the switch to turn it off and on broke. I was sad because it matched the red, but decided to return it and have it replaced. I returned the broken item that broke in less than 24 hours to amazon, had them ship me a new one, which I received today. I unboxed the new desk lamp and it looked even better than the previous, I couldn't wait to use it. I went to screw in the recommended lightbulb that they suggested, and the switch on top stopped clicking and working. You could turn it off and on, but it was very touchy, and it had to be a certain way, in a certain placement, in order to get it off and on. This was out of the box. I decided keeping it wasn't worth the TWENTY DOLLARS I paid, where I could just go to Target or order a different one on amazon of better quality. I'm overall very disappointed in this experience and would just recommend a different product/seller. I've never had to return or replace items, this is my first time doing so, and the new one didn't even work once out of the box. It's worth about five dollars, but definitely not twenty. Not worth the money. Very disappointed that I had a maximum of 2 hour usage between BOTH lamps. I'm returning it to amazon in hopes of a refund so I can get a new one from a different seller or from my local store.TL;DR —Broke first time within 2 hours, returned for a replacement, replacement didn't even work once out of the box. Had some bad reviews about plastic melting, it being defective, etc. but the switch to turn it on and off (which is a pretty big deal) broke both times in less than 2 hours. Returned less than 24 hours after receiving both times. Save your money. Don't get this lamp, get a different one.

Works great prefect for my sons room

Cute and works well but received broken. It an attempt to quick fix it I hot glued it as it was a gift for my daughter and she was super disappointed when she opened it and it was broken.

Love these lamps. Bought the red and green for my two sons, 15 and almost 12. They fit on their desks perfect, give off a great amount of light, looks amazing and is super convenient. The ability to plug your charger in AND lay your phone on the base— for easy FaceTiming, texting or video watching— is an awesome feature. Very happy with the product.

Not much to say. The lamp is working but right out of the box the plastic had sratches and dents like it wasn't even new. The switch also feels flimsy so it won't be much of a surprise when it fails. My kid loved it anyways so that's why we kept it. Still a bit pricey for the quality.
