I live alone and celery always spoils for me long before its used up, and the grocery store celery flakes I'd tried resembled straw, with a hint of celery flavor. I was astonished when I opened this package and smelled the aroma. I put a couple of plain, tiny dried bits in my mouth, and actually tasted real celery. I am so impressed, I intend to try all the other dried seasonings, vegetables, and fruit.A wonderful find!

Instead of wasting a whole head of celery, having the dried celery in the pantry seemed to be a good idea. However, the taste is non-existent although it adds a bit of texture to soups and stews. A little disappointed.

The celery pieces are very small. Forget it if you want "crunch". This, when dehydrated delivers a good celery taste. It is good in soups, stews and stuffing. Salads you'll get the flavor but not the crunch. The pieces are the same size as parsley out of the bottle. It would be a real winner if the pieces were larger.

I was not quite sure what to expect, but was pleasantly surprised. The celery bits were a nice size...not too big and not too finely chopped. I was also pleased with the flavor. Once mixed into a salad and giving it a few minutes, I really couldn't tell the difference. I generally use it in cold salads...potato, tuna and chicken salads. I would recommend.

I have been using these celery flakes in my soups and stews. The flavor and smell is wonderful! I will buy again.

This products works great for soups when you don’t have fresh celery! I will order again when this supply is gone, which could be sooner rather than later, since it’s soup season.
