Cool novelty but works well!
I bought this kind of as a novelty item, but it works pretty well. The translated instructions were a little hard to understand, but I figured it out and now it sits on my mantle and keeps pretty good track of high and low weather pressure.
A**!
Fun conversation piece!
This barometer is so much fun and is quite accurate!! Not very durable as I’m on my second one but it is made out of glass so you have to be careful! Perfect size and has the coolest look! Definitely a conversation piece!

Works great, but go no instructions on how to read it
It works great. Changes every day and thorughout the day. However the box came entirely in Chinese. There was one small slip of paper with a brief explanation of how to set it up by a non english speaker.

Pain to set up. Still not sure if it works or not.
First off, instructions are not in English. This is clearly a product made in Asia for an Asian market. Box was not in English, instructions were not in English, but we had to rely on the pictures to know what to do. As a gift for my daughter who loves science, she initially loved it but setting up was a pain. The colored dye got on everything and everywhere and the water was super difficult to get inside the glass. I don't think it works for the weather and the value is not good at all. Had I known all of this, I would have skipped this and looked elsewhere.

Works great & looks good
My grandmother had a water barometer (the swan type) above the kitchen sink when I was a kid growing up on the coast. We relied on it to easily know when storms were coming — very helpful. Really loving this one. Works great! I don't check the weather app nearly as much because a quick glance at this barometer tells me when weather changes will occur soon. Low pressure fronts come before storms. So this barometer will give you a few hours warning and also tell you how bad the storm will be (high water level = big storm on the way). I like that it graphically displays barometric pressure. Getting numbers isn't nearly as useful as seeing the water expand and rise because the atmospheric pressure is low. It was a bit of a hassle to fill. Needed to to put in a syringe full of water and then tip the barometer over (with finger over the hole) to get the water into the bulb. Have to repeat a bunch of times to get the bulb filled 40-50% with water. Mine came with only yellow dye. Wanted it red like my grandmother's swan barometer, so I just used some food coloring.

Find a place to keep it outside in garage. It works outside.
I wasn't sure this thing was working when I had it in the house, so we put it in the garage where we could see it out the backdoor window. IT definitely works out there. If I am wondering if we are about to get a storm (we live in tornado country) all I have to do is look out there. I put red food coloring in mine so it is easy to see from a distance. It sits on a shelf out there where it is easy to notice. OH, be sure you watch the videos online about how to fill it by laying it on it's side in the top of a coffee mug. Big game changer. So easy to fill or empty that way.

Could be better.
A little confusing to under because the box it came it was in all Japanese writing.

No English instructions. It's a guess whether this will work or not. Trying to get it ready by looking at the pictures.

Thought it may have been a Little larger than it was but it’s great anyway 😀

Well firstly it was a lot smaller than i expected after filling it with blue dye and water it started leaking. Couldn't see any crack or split but it was leaking. Instructions were in Chinese only. Would probably look somewhere else for a glass that works.

Didn’t come exactly as shown

I have two of these and the larger of the two works better than the smaller one. The small seems to be less effective with pressure changes.
