super impressed!
If you love camping or being active balance bikes are so much more then just teaching your kid to ride. 4 year old daughter has a 19" inseam and around 42", mostly legs! We had the previous strider which was okay she loved it personally a few things we would have changed, I called strider originally hoping to buy another balance bike that would fit her height better and the super strider just isn't available for viewing anywhere, with the age 6 to 10 and the distance from seat to handle bars and heavy weight of probably around 20lbs just didn't seem like the option we wanted to go for, balance bikes are great because they're light weight and easy to move around. This bike came in the mail and though wish they had more colors to choose from or the 16 inch in the green it is overall a beautiful bike! Great design easily assembled and the frame is made for comfort! The seat is super cute, setup was very easy and she was on it the very next day, definitely could tell the weight difference for her as she didn't fly on it as fast until the end of day so if you're considering a balance bike whether for fun or to teach your kid to ride go ahead and get it the seat is at the lowest setting along with the handle bars she has plenty of room to grow on it, much more then I thought she would! At this price its a steal, we have a regular bike with pedals for her but overall we love the balance bikes, she gets the energy out and has much more fun, definitely got some head turns and people asking where we got a bigger balance bike!

Solidly Built and Works Like A Charm!
We bought this for our four year old son and couldn't be happier with the quality and effectiveness of the bike. It is constructed with quality materials and has a very sturdy feel. Much more so than other glider bikes we looked at.Our son progressed so quickly with this bike that we are a little disappointed he won't get more use out of it. He struggled for months with the traditional training-wheel setup, and relied so heavily on the training wheels that he really wasn't learning anything except how to pedal while leaning over to one side.We decided to spring for this bike and after only a handful of sessions, he is gliding down long inclines on our walking trails with no problems at all. He's basically mastered the balance aspect of riding. He's so comfortable that he ends up "swerving" and other little things to spice up the ride a bit.Our only disappointment is that since the bike worked so well, he's moving on to a pedaled bike after using this only a short time. With a price tag of over $100, if you look at the cost/use ratio, it's pretty high. If you plan to have multiple children learn using this bike, then it's a no-brainer. This is the bike for you. If like us, you only have one child to use the bike, then this is still the bike for you, but you'll have to come to terms with the idea that It might not get as much use as other $100+ purchases you make.

My kids fight over it. It's that awesome.
My five year old was stuck in a rut with tricycles and all of the total frustration that comes with trying to pedal those things. He thought he was too scared to ride a bike. I had tried taking the pedals off of his older brother's hand-me-down bike; but, the trouble with that is the crank arms still get in the way. I had this on my wishlist for weeks and when his birthday came along I bought it. On the first day, he freaked out with excitement. He got on it and tooled around the house. We made it an indoor bike for the first 3 weeks, just to get him comfortable with it. Yesterday, he put his helmet on and took it outside for a bike ride with the family and it was amazing how well his balance came together. Honestly, we could have had him riding his pedal bike sooner, but he's enjoying this one so much for now that I'm not going to push it. It's obvious that he's already got the balance, turning, and braking skills nailed down and we'll get him on his pedal bike in the next week or so. Also, I just do a quick-release seat adjustment whenever his 6 year old sister borrows it whenever he's not using it and has gotten herself riding, too. It's like a magic bike. It's awesome. Well made, solid, simple, perfect size.

Great quality balance bike
Great quality balance bike. This bike is the perfect size for my 4 year old! Most other balance bikes are 12" and way too small for this age. This one is on the small side of 16" fitting more like a 14" which is hard to find and perfect for us! Great for a very large 3 year old or 4 year olds! My son is 40" tall and we have the seat all the way down and his feet touch the ground perfectly.

Success!!!!!
I was afraid to let her ride a pedal bike, but on this she has had many wipeouts and only tiny scrapes and bruises! It must be comfortable because she will play all day on it! It took her about a day to learn to balance. I LOVE that it has a handbrake, it took her about 2-3 days to master that. We live in a hilly area with dirt roads and this bike is safe and is making her strong from the exercise that she gets riding it. She squealed when we opened the box and she saw the color. By the way, my daughter is almost 5 years old and big for her age and this bike fits perfect with room to grow. They also have a small version for tiny kids which I wish I knew about before. Don't be afraid mamas, it is very safe and gives happy exercise!

I'm very pleased with this balance bike
I'm very pleased with this balance bike. My son is a 46in tall 4 y.o. The bike is the right size for him with the seat in the lowest position right now, there is a lot of room to grow. The seller shipped fast, the quality of the bike is excellent. This bike was bought to replace Strider 12in which was too small for my son.

Thank you
This is a great product we got it for my son who has Autism and he loves it. He hadn't gotten to ride it like normal but that is not the manufactures fault so it is a solid bike we are so glad that we bought it.
