SHAVING MADE INFINITELY BETTER
My beard is like steel wool. Disposable, multiblade, & other shavers cannot handle this chronic situation. A durable safety razor is an excellent alternative. Then it's just tweaking the blades until finding what handles each individual face. DORCO blades are well made, offer sharp, smooth, long lasting shaves @ the lowest price I've ever paid. Replacing weekly as many recommend is fine,& with 1000 blades, this pack will last for almost 20 years! My face is properly & comfortably shaven, with rarely the need to usealum, styptic, or other clotting products. The cost per blade is roughly 2/3 of a CENT! No more constant buying, looking for sales,out of stock merchandise, nor incremental price increases. Thanks to DORCO, shaving is no longer a tedious, unpleasant chore.

I've tried Wilkinson, Feather and these Dorco blades. Wilkinson was noticeably the worst. Dorco and Feather seem quite similar to me in spite of everything I've read about how sharp Feather is. These Dorco blades last at least 5 shaves and are by far the best value. I also use them in a hair cutting system and they perform very well there. For shaving, I'm using the Merkur 180 razor which I also like and recommend. My favorite shaving soap is Williams which I buy at the local drug store to avoid the steep shipping charge for the Williams soap I've found on Amazon. Here's a tip: most of the dulling of the blade comes from rust. So, after I shave, I loosen the head of the Merkur razor and vigorously blow into the head to remove as much water as possible from the blade. It makes a noticeable difference in the life of the blade. Happy shaving!

My favorite DE blade for the Final Cut DE razor
For me these blades work the best without cutting me when using the "Final Cut DE Razor". I have tried Feather, Gillette Blue, Derby and others but these seem to work best for me with this razor.Note your results may differ depending on your DE razor and other factors.
