As per the recommendation of top reviewers, I waited until the weather cooled, before I even opened these, as there was no freaking way that I was gonna bake in my bed, in the summer; just put this bedding on for the 1st time this morning.Holy shmoly, this set is top tier quality.I'm impressed, and my standards are incredibly high.The colour, pattern, texture, thickness... all top-notch. I'm extremely impressed.Been suffering with Long-Coronavirus for 16months, so I take pleasure in the small things whilst I'm trying to get my health back to at least 50% of what it was.For now, I'll take the small pleasure of keeping warm under this nice, thick, winter bedding😊🙃***update***Just washed these on a 20°c (cold) wash and they came out soft and bright, just as they'd been when I first opened them. Also, rather than tumble drying, I dried them in my bathroom using the dehumidifier, as this guarantees that I'll get more wear out of this set.The 1 and 2star reviews must be spam because this bedding is top-tier quality.It's made of thick, luxurious cotton therefore I'd highly recommend washing on a cold wash so as to preserve it's vibrant colouring and soft texture.Easily my favourite set of bedding🛌😍

The top edge of the duvet was sown incorrectly. The inside seem was on the outside of the duvet for almost half if the edge. The photos aren't great at illustrating the issue, but the edge will not hold as well as a properly finished edge. I've washed it though before using it, so not sure what options are open to me know.

Colours are not as vibrant as picture but more a pale grey and white. Nice and soft. Washed immediately and washed well and still feels soft. Quality appears good. Time will tell. Satisfied with purchase and as described.

I didn't know what it would be like, but once washed and on my bed it's like sleeping under seventh heaven..its heavy, well made and cosy..the moment I got under my quilt it was an ah!! moment..I haven't slept well for a long time but that first night I slept really well. I think it's the weight of the quilt cover that is helping.I love it so much I bought it in grey too so when I change my bedding I won't be without my lovely bedding..My hubby stated he wouldn't like it, we argued and he said he would give it one night and then he wanted his cotton pillow case back and if he couldn't sleep after that he wanted it off the bed.What can I say he refused to change his pillow case. He had to eat his words because he loves it as well..

Was ok but went out of shape after first wash. Doesn’t look so good now.
