I read this book as a child and fell in love with it
Stone soup is a very cute and clever book. It teaches innovation when one has little to work with. Moreso, we both just thought it was a warm and cute book. Loved the team work to make the soup and it even gave me an idea to make “stone soup” with my little one in the kitchen with all the ingredients in the book. (We ended up making beef stew) 🤣😭My son gobbled up the stew completely! Most importantly this book gave us an opportunity to share and make memories.

Found it!
Great getting to reread this book from my childhood. I mostly bought it for my husband because when I told him we made “stone soup” in kindergarten he had no clue what I was talking about and thought I made it up. Lol. So happy I could prove him wrong.

I love this book
This is a good story to read to any child in the early childhood setting, such as kinder and Pre-K. Even it can be good for 1st grade. The kids can enjoy the activities that come from the little fable.

Great book and great practical joke!
My father-in-law sent home a stew for me. It smelled delicious, but turned out to be a bucket of rocks with a little stew spread across the top. I pretended it was delicious not letting on that he had pranked me. In response I remembered this wonderful book existed and sent him an anonymous copy. My phone was ringing minutes after I got a message that the package had arrived by UPS!Showed up exactly as expected, on time. Wonderful experience from both a product sense and a memory created.

Poor print quality
The history it's well written and interesting. My kids loved it, but the quality of the material of the paper it's trash. Its really bad. Not worthy the money.
