and does lead to happy feet! I put on thick lambs-wool socks
I had one of those shiatsu units that is supposed to also do the calves, but not only did it not reach the calves, but it was much too brutal on my legs and my feet.So I got this, and, though I still sometimes find it a bit brutal for me, as the rollers are plastic, it's tolerable, and does lead to happy feet!I put on thick lambs-wool socks, which really helps.I like the way it squeezes the feet, much more than the rollers.I usually use one of the four programs, as it's the easiest on the feet, and feels good actually.So, it's quite adjustable-mainly speed, direction, and emphasis (like toes or ball of foot, etc.), but I wish it had an adjustment for amount of pressure, like a "softer" setting.But, I think I am keeping this one.update nov 2015:The plug has recently become too loose, and won't stay well-connected to its inner prong, so it too easily goes off, and recently, it won't go on at all.I have contacted the seller about warranty service; I'll follow up depending on how/if they respond

Great for daily use!
Have had it for about a month already, I literally use it numerous times every single day. SO worth the money! Feels so good, doesn't grub too hard and has many different modes although I didn't notice a difference in the way it felt massaging my foot. There seems to be a preset amount of time that it automatically runs for and then you just have to turn it in again. I think it's between ten to fifteen minutes at a time, haven't exactly times it out though.

I loved this until 2 days ago. The plug is loose and not snug so it doesn't work anymore. Very disappointed.

Absolutely great for my feet
Absolutely great for my feet. Had bunion surgery and have pain at the end of my day. Using the massager removes the swelling and pain. Can't live without it!

This thing is AMAZING!!!! and customer service can't be beat!!!! I have plantar faciatis, and this thing all but eliminated it in 2-3 days. I would very HIGHLY recommend this to everyone!!!

Disappointef
This massager was too rough for me! I gave it to a man to try and he had the same experience. I was disappointed. I give it a two as it was sturdy, well made.
