Fascinating Look into Deceit and Control: We've Been Asleep Too Long
This book is my first foray into the writing of William Guy Carr, and my overall impression of this work is that it is one of the most important books that most people have never heard of, but absolutely should read. Easily should be in top twenty must read lists. For anyone interested in the deep roots of international Communism and the powerful global financial interests who created it and have guided--and continue to guide--its path toward their ultimate goals of controlling governments and economies, this book will lay out the verifiable history and methodology that makes it easily plain to see how it has affected world history. One will be struck by how often these elite international players have brought incredibly significant historical events into being for their own ends, and one will realize how much of these same tactics are still being used today. The only real critique I have of this book really comes down to Carr's mischaracterization and misinformation that he uses in regard to the National Socialist era. He simply too often uses incorrect, well refuted claims, as well as at other times, rather than relying on verified evidence and primary source documents, he relies on a mysterious, unnamed "informant" for whom we have no way to verify at all. I'll include some specifics of this critique below. To begin, as I mentioned Carr's portrayal of the National Socialist movement is sometimes almost a silly caricature and seems largely based on war propaganda that has now, largely been debunked. For instance, he asserts that "Nazism" is an atheistic movement. This claim has been utterly debunked, as we have scores of documentation showing that National Socialism was in fact, a very Christian movement. The National Socialists acknowledged God as creator, Christ as Savior and King, and used Christian values throughout their ideology. German regiments had in-field services and often started the day with Christian prayers. The church worked closely with the National Socialists on developing issues of charity, looking after the poor and needy, strength of family, economic support for families, and establishing Christian morals and ethics as the backbone of ideology and policy, as well as inspiring the National Socialist party to ban things like usury, brothels, drag shows, and other smut from German cities. Gott mit uns, translating to "God with us," was the NatSoc motto and in Mein Kampf Hitler stated, "The party (National Socialist) as such stands for positive Christianity."And yet Carr gets this completed twisted and makes ridiculous statements like, "Communism and Nazism have several things in common: both are atheistic creeds which deny the existence of Almighty God. They both advocate war, hatred, and force; as opposed to Christ's policy of love, peace, and teaching." (pg 124) The irony in Carr's statement above, is that it perfectly describes the well attested Communist ideology, which was very open about its atheistic goals with the State as supreme power. However, National Socialism doesn't belong in this description even one iota, as its ideology very specifically and proudly acknowledged the existence of God, and of Christ as Lord. National Socialist ideology did NOT advocate war, but actually sought peace over and over and over, trying to avoid war. Few people realize how many peace deals Hitler tried to arrange before the war, but every single time they were rejected by Churchill and Stalin (often at the prodding of international Finance groups). In fact, the only way they could even get Hitler to finally move toward war was by repeatedly fomenting the killing and raping of ethnic Germans living in Poland, to the point where Hitler finally decided to respond and march in to stop the massacres. Scores of primary source documents, speeches, and letters also show that National Socialist ideology never advocated hatred for any group other than those who sought to destroy Germany. Their position was always that every people, race, culture and nationality should love and care for their own people in their own homelands, preserving all of their unique cultures, that each unique group was better separated where they could build and preserve their own societies in their own best interests, working neighborly together with other societies/cultures. It just so happened they wanted that for Germany as well.Oddly enough, Carr seems to be aware of this, and even notes that Hitler wanted, not war, but an alliance with Britain (He considered the English their brothers), as he quotes Hitler's statement, "I am willing to help defend the British Empire by force if called upon." (pg 175). Again, Carr shows Hitler sought a peaceful alliance with Britain, and did not "advocate war" when he quotes him as saying, "No sacrifice would have been too great in order to gain England's alliance." (pg 175) Only a page earlier, Carr claimed that the National Socialists had a "plan" in which part four was allegedly to "invade Britain and France and subjugate the people," (pg 174) yet the primary sources he later quotes refute this unsubstantiated "plan." So I'm not sure why Carr in one place writes that National Socialists advocated war, while turning around and contradicting himself by showing that in fact, they sought peace and alliance. And there are numerous documents, speeches, meeting notes, and even newspaper articles, showing that nearly three dozen attempts were made by Hitler's Germany to arrive at a peace deal and avoid war at all costs. So Carr seems a little confused--or misled--here on this issue. One thing I noticed is that Carr, when getting into this unsubstantiated and speculative sort of NatSoc narrative, falls back on an alleged mysterious atheistic "Nazi War Lords" group that supposedly guided the National Socialists from behind the scenes and could explain these problems. However, records show no such group existed. There were for fact, quite a few German-Jewish Communist agent subversives that had worked their way into key positions and tried to exert influence, but they were largely found out and removed. I think Carr's use of the phantom "Nazi War Lords" group is just a safety net to explain why/how some of his information was simply unsubstantiated or false altogether.Furthermore, Carr sometimes treats war propaganda as verified truth, when it's far from it. For instance, Carr states, "With the conquest of Britain and the United States the Nazis planned to exterminate the Jews living in these two countries as they had exterminated those they located in Europe." (pg 174) and later states, "They claimed the only way to wipe out Communism was the extermination of the whole Jewish race." (pg 176). Carr makes this unsupported statement as matter of fact, when in reality, the empirical evidence shows that not once was any plan for invading Britain or the US in existence, and not once was any plan, not even a single verified document or letter, ever in existence for the alleged extermination of Jewish, or any other group of people, regardless of the ultimate outcome. With the tens of thousands of documents discovered, we simply have no evidence that any such plans actually ever existed. Those tales were almost exclusively promulgated by the media during the war. War-time propaganda to keep morale high is nothing new, but somehow Carr has taken media stories and info from his "informant" as factual while ignoring the actual documentary evidence.Having said all of that, given that this book was written in 1958 I don't think Carr can necessarily be faulted for this mistake of National Socialist party characterization and intent, as there were scores of documents that we didn't have access to until the 80s and 90s with the fall of the Soviet Union, which brought much light to these issues. It's likely Carr simply didn't have access to all of the info and relied on so much of the disinformation that was circulated during and after the war regarding National Socialist era Germany. One indication that this is the case is Carr's very use of the words "Nazi" and "Nazism." The term "Nazi" and its derivatives was coined by a Jewish Marxist named Konrad Heiden as a pejorative to describe and denigrate Germans. It played a huge part in Allied war propaganda during and after the war to demonize the National Socialists and keep the American and British people riled up in a fervor for loathing and punishing Germany. So when Carr uses the terms "Nazi" or "Nazism" it's a really big clue that he's getting a lot of his info on National Socialist ideology from propaganda and not from primary sources. So while I still consider all the above critique relatively minor, it should be kept in mind while reading anything Carr writes about National Socialism as a movement or party with the realization there's a fair amount of misinformation on the topic within his work.Along that same vein, Carr is very open and candid about the overwhelming Jewish representation in the establishment and spread of Communism, as well as the overwhelming Jewish representation in global finance and banking behind government debt and economic control. And he rightly points out that just because Jews largely have been the ones within Communism and global finance to control events around the world for their goals, that this does NOT mean ALL Jews are part of the "evil world takeover" and in fact, will just as quickly be discarded and turned on by the globalists, as any other average person would. The everyday average Jewish family just living their lives like you and I, is not part of any evil plot to take over the world, and Carr is clear to make this distinction. However, he sometimes goes out of his way to point this out in an oddly ingratiating manner which seems overly apologetic (or even fearful) for pointing out the truth of the matter in the first place. That part could have used a little more balance and stoicism, but is otherwise another minor critique. With these few minor critiques kept in mind, I still fully believe that this book is a treasure trove of information, and the insights from the examination of the historical impact of the global finance cartels, the secret societies they created, used and infiltrated, the birth of international Communism and Zionism and manipulation of Capitalism for their purpose toward an ultimate world government, the intrigue and manipulation which the powers-that-be use and spread (including the infamous L'Infamie that we still see used on politicians and leaders today), and the numerous globalist goals identified back in the 50s which we now can see have actually played out as true since this book was written, make this one of the most important books to read for understanding the current global economics, politics, conflicts, and power structures developing today. Without a doubt I consider "Pawns in the Game" a fascinating, insightful, prescient book and a definite must read.

Maybe the Most Important Book Ever Written
This may be one of the most important books ever written. It should be required reading in all schools (if there's ever to be a chance of straightening out our mess of a society that is). That won't happen though, not with America's system of public education in the hands of the Rockefeller Group. That's one point Commander Carr didn't catch. It's also one of the few.Pawns in the Game is the culmination of a lifetime of research. If understood it shakes the beliefs of most readers to their core. The amount of documentation Carr found is staggering. The occasions where he produces it are the times when it's absolutely necessary to make what he says believable. Communism was created and funded by American bankers. Members of the same group were Roosevelt's advisors during World War II. Carr produces enough evidence to make it believable. Hitler tried to form an alliance with Britain in order to hunt down financiers from that same group. He didn't want to fight England. It makes sense. England and Germany were never natural enemies. Germany was the first nation to recover from the great depression. That's well known. Carr explains why. Hitler broke away from the International Bankers and enacted a system of monetary reform. Austria (Hitler's home Province) had enacted a similar system in the years that followed World War I. It was successful until the Rothschilds raised trade sanctions against them. Hitler's actions provoked the bankers to the point where they initiated war against him. Carr produces solid evidence when he states these cases. Much of what he has to say contradicts most of what we spend our lives being taught. But, when placed alongside historical events most of us know about what he says makes sense. The events we knew about end up making more sense as well. This is only a small part of the book though. Carr traced the history of the money lenders from their beginnings through to the formation of the Illuminati by Adam Weishaupt. He also traced the House of Rothschild from their beginnings as the head of the group of Goldsmiths that financed the English Revolution. He explains their involvement in almost every facet of our history. He explains how these things were funded, and by who. He gives detailed analysis of their methods. The book isn't perfect. Often, he traces lines of involvement rather than chronological history (which results in moving from era to era and then back again in the next chapter). There are times when his guess work is obvious. But these are minor complaints. When a reader finishes the book they understand not only what's happened in the past, but also to see how those same things are being initiated now. This is just a small part of what this book covers. When a person is through it they don't see a conspiracy. They see a money trail. This work should never be out of print. As a guide through the past it's astonishing. As a guide toward the future and how to influence its shape, it's invaluable. It's inaccurate to refer to this book as something one "finishes". Anyone with an appetite for truth never finishes with it. There's too much truth in there to keep from going back to it again and again.

Impresionante

Great work
I read this book rather late in my research of the global conspiracy. However, it has really helped add a few piezes of the puzzle together. This book was written in the 1950s so the message has been circulating for some time now - William Guy Carr was one of the earlier whistleblowers about the Illuminati and their sinister global agenda. He goes into great deapth about the Lucifarian nature of the World Order (World Revolutionary Movement as he calls it). He also considers the wars and revolutions in detail and how they were contrived to fit an agenda - the evidence he supplies is remarkable and impossible to refute. His knowledge is quite impressive, if not depressive. Carr was a Navy Commander and had connections with inteligence officers on the "inside" and in the know. Highly recommended for those trying to make sense of the "New World Order." It is clear to me why so many other authors and researchers of the Conspiracy refer to this book! I also reccomend David Livingstone "Terrorism and the Illuminati."
