Amazing coffee! I have also had the regular medium roast and the decaf medium roast. They were booth delicious and made a cafe au lait reminiscent of the ones I drank in New Orleans. But the medium dark roast restaurant blend was even richer, still without any bitterness and so, so smooth.Better than ANY restaurant, coffee house or home brew I have had.My new favorite.An added bonus: The pride beats out the price of ANY decent coffee in the grocery store. Incrediable deal!

Love it! I tried to go back to my old brand, and couldn't. You don't have to use as much, and the flavor is great.

First and foremost, my favorite coffee is made by Community and it's a coffee and chicory blend. It's so delicious and full of flavor, I highly recommend it to all. Sometimes it's hard to find locally and it can be expensive when purchased online, so this French Market chicory is my backup option. The French Market coffee is good, definitely worthy of 4 stars, and the price is decent, and the tin can is cute. It isn't quite as flavorful as the Community brand and it isn't as uniformly ground. I'm honestly not sure if anyone cares about the uniformity of the grounds but I thought I'd add that bit of feedback just in case. So, overall, I'm happy with the product and will probably buy another can sometime in the future. If you like chicory, give it a shot!

Three 12-ounce cans for under $20 is an amazing deal, especially considering how good this coffee tastes.I wasn’t sure what to expect from coffee blended with chicory root, but the flavor pleasantly surprised me. It has a rich, dark roast base with earthy, slightly woodsy notes from the chicory that add depth and a subtle caramel sweetness. The blend is smooth and flavorful without being too strong or bitter.This isn’t the most intense coffee I’ve had, which works well for days when I want a bold but balanced cup without feeling jittery. The medium-dark roast is just right — robust yet smooth and enjoyable any time of day.Overall, this coffee is excellent quality for the price, and it’s quickly become one of my favorites. I’ve been a lifelong coffee drinker and appreciate all different types of roasts but this French Market coffee is one of my favorites. I take it with a little half and half, and the taste and caffeine content is perfect. It really wakes me up more than a lot of other bold flavored French and Italian roasts I’ve tried. I brew it in a traditional drip coffee pot but have also brewed this with a pour-over cup as well. I like to make a large pot in the morning, drink a few cups, and then I refrigerate the rest in a large 64oz glass mason jar to have iced coffee in the afternoon. It tastes great hot or iced. If you ever get the chance to visit the New Orleans (where this coffee is roasted and packaged), it’s a great experience. I go several times a year.

I'm giving these 5 stars even though I do not care for it because it is a good coffee. I just didn't realize it is a French roast, and I do not like French roasts. I gave it to a friend who loved it and said it is delicious. I found it too rich for my tastes. If you like coffee so strong it can make your hair stand on end, this is the one for you.

Have purchased this item many times. Always fresh and good quality. This last time I ordered, I received a can that was not sealed properly. Will not use. Asking for refund. I will purchase again because this may just be a one-time issue.
