MODONA 10” Rain Shower Head – Polished Chrome - 5 Year Warrantee

I spent many hours reviewing different heads on Amazon and could not bring myself to spend hundreds of dollars on name-brand shower heads. This one had all positive reviews with no reports of product failure, so I took the plunge.I also purchased the purelux 16" shower arm to mount this shower head: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B012OJO9F6/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_0The product came nicely packaged and even included some plumbers tape. I did not install the flow restrictor as I am on a well and even though we have good pressure I prefer to have a more flow for our taps and shower heads. It comes with a rubber washer that has a coarse mesh for debris. Whether you install it is upto you, but I installed it in mine.After a painless install of both the shower arm and the head I finally turned them on. Unfortunately the head leaks near the threaded adapter, but only barely so. I tried remounting it twice with a fresh application of teflon tape each time but it still leaked slightly. Since it doesn't affect the function of the head and there isn't any potential for water damage from the small leak I just left it.-1 star for the leak I couldn't remedy.Now for the good news: The pressure is excellent and I really love the feel of the water from the head. It really drenches you! My wife commented on how much she enjoyed her shower with it as well. Without the flow restrictor the cone of spray actually tapers down rather than widening, which I found slightly odd but it did not affect my enjoyment. I am tempted to try it with the flow restrictor to see how it performs, but not sure I feel upto removing the head again. We shall see...Since we are on a well and have extremely hard well water along with salt in our water time will tell how durable this head is and if it stands up to the ultimate well water test. I will report back after some time, but generally have had better luck with shower heads that are not all metal (they corrode and scale quickly even with our softened water).All in all great value for the price you pay!

The shower head provides excellent spray as long as the water impediment included in the kit is not installed. Very aesthetic, and no staining or spotting after a month's use.With the water impediment installed, performance was quite disappointing.I recommend installing the filter it comes with, as it does not impede the water flow noticeably, and upon inspection after a week of use, the filter had collected some particles. Of course this depends on your water supply, "your mileage may vary" as they say.If your locale has expensive water, it may help to poke larger holes in the water stopper instead, or simply buy one with larger holes. Also, note that the 2" ring on the top comes off, for easy removal of the stopper and/or filter.The reason it is 4 and not 5 stars is that there are some plastic parts, in particular the adjustment bevel. It does not seem like an ultra-luxury item, but excellent value and functionality for the price.

I installed this in the guest shower, with the flow control installed. Our visitors seem to really like it, and it is much larger than the old, blocked rain head that it replaced. I would not say this is heavy duty, as it is rather light, but it works well.I tried to tilt the head a bit to direct water away from the shower door, but doing so only caused reduced flow from the uphill nozzles. This isn't the fault of the head, but more the design of a rain shower, which is non-directional.

I love it!!! For the price you can't go wrong. I was thinking about buying a expensive air rainshower head but decided to go with this one. The water in our area is hard so I may have to change it in the future. I have a 10 ft ceiling in the bathroom so the original tube was too short in 10 inch long. The water cooling down as it reach to the body so I bought a Denze 24 inch tube. They are perfect for my height, I don't have to crank up the hot water any more.

I love this shower head!Never thought a fixed head would be better than the hand-held variety, but this sucker drenches/soaks/rinses so fast and thoroughly that I am currently saving my pennies to buy another one for the other bathroom!Honestly, after my first shower with this thing I must have said "Wow!" fifty times!I added the extended gooseneck (way expensive!) to get away from the wall, but wanted to get a little farther, so I tilted this out and didn't lose any 'footprint' or flow from the higher holes.

This is GREAT bang for the buck.I got my first one for less than the one I just purchased, but I still bought another as I think it’s great value.Looks great and functions well.I did buy extended arms as well.

Great water pressure and great amount of water cones out of it. Super easy to install. So far so good!

This is a huge Shower head. Was worried that it was too big before the install & test. Was an easy install. Have plenty of pressure available for this large head & there is so much water, it feels like rain. Metal attachment point & metal rotate point. Believe the side of the head where the water comes out is made of some type of plastic.

Great quality, light weight, amazing water pressure (I'm not using the regulator) I am very happy with this purchase!

Excellent product, everything you need to install with perfect rain effect shower experience. If you don't have an extension arm you will need to purchase this separately. Really good value for money.

It didnt fit i returned it and got refunded right away but other than that it is a beautiful piece!
