Our C106 cylinder (or rod) magnets are great for many purposes. You can use them with chrome steel balls to make magnetic sculptures, art or jewelry. They make great magnets for hanging things on the fridge or metal boards because they can hold a lot and their 1/4" thickness makes them easier to grasp to pull off than some of the thinner magnets we carry (although it will still take a bit of effort). Fun to play with and very useful. The metal coating is very durable, but ALL Neodymium magnets can chip or shatter. If used gently, these magnets can serve you for a lifetime.
