So this is the problem. I don't most of the laundry. When my wife does, she just grabs socks and pairs them by color. She doesn't actually look to see if they are matches by size or style. With that in mind, I am buying themed socks. No more worries about what sock goes with what sock. I am an elementary principal, so the kids and teachers think it is cool.This sock pairs necessity with one of my favorite things: The BUCKEYES. Especially fun because I live halfway between that one school up north and the other in East Lansing and it annoys people. Warm, comfortable, easy to wear- I can't wait for summer to wear this sock with sandals and cargo shorts.

very nice looking but TIGHT!
i'm a petite female with a natural 13.25" calf & 12" behind knee- these were hard to get on, the top is very tight and constricting, & sadly they become a bit uncomfortable. i bought to wear at home when my columbus hubby & i watch the game but not sure if i could wear them for that long.

Nice socks! Probably not meant for those with calves much bigger that 35cm (13.75").
Great socks for game day. As others have mentioned, these are probably not for larger people. I'm 5'10" and 140lbs, they fit me well. The largest part of my calf is 35cm (13.75"). They are also very tall (over the calf). The Buckeye leaves are on one side only with the helmet stripe in both front and rear.GO BUCKS!!!

Too Tight
Nice quality, and bright colors after many washes. However unless you have "bird legs" (skinny from ankle to buttock), there will be no way for you to get these over your calves. The elastic and sewing is just way too tight. I have been wearing mine around my ankles, and after a half hour I'm seeing major indents in my skin. I usually can't wear these all day cause they are just too uncomfortable.

Great looking socks, my son loves them. Only issue I have is he has worn maybe 5 times and they are threadbare.

I bought these for myself BUT they do not fit they were way too small , they did fit my son so he has them they do not fit an adult at all :-(
