Q: How deep is the mold. I’m looking for shallow molds so I can use the cabs with my embroidered jewelry I make?

You can only fill the molds 1/2 way or so to get a thinner cab

Q: Can these molds be used with polymer clay?

Yes, though I find it helpful to add a little corn starch to the mold. My hands are typically warm so it helps it not stick.

Q: How big are the molds? Specifically the big circular one?

The big circle one is a little over an inch. I haven't measured but from memory, my guess would be 1.25 to 1.5 inches.

Q: Love the shapes of this mold but hesitant to buy if final product comes out with a dull or matte finish. Does this make matte finish only?

They come out as a matte finish, but it's very easy to create a gloss finish on your projects. Once cooled, just lightly brush some resin onto the facing side of your piece. You'll want to use a high quality brush so not to leave stray hairs or lines in your resin.
