I’m really happy with this Russian chocolate. The quality and taste are always excellent - rich, smooth, and exactly what I am expecting of this type of chocolate. It also arrived well-packaged, with no damage to the original boxes or the bars inside, which I definitely appreciate when ordering food items online. Overall, great product and great presentation. I’ll happily order this again! :)

I bought this chocolate for a friend who loves dark chocolate. Every month i search Amazon for different varieties, hoping to expand his taste buds to the many textures and depths of flavor that dark chocolate possesses. However, he is picky about any additional ingredients besides the chocolate. No salt, no caramel, NO nuts! After weeding out many varieties, I settled on this brand, excited to hear his experience with Russian Dark Chocolate! We spoke tonight, and he exclaims that the chocolate was really, really great! Very smooth, not to bitter, amazing flavor! Then he says, "And i really didnt mind the hazelnuts much as I thought I would" What???? Omg! After apologizing, he assured me all was ok. My shock took me back to my orders to see what i missed in the description of the chocolate. Not much, except the few Russian words on the label. Hmmm...does that translate to Hazelnuts?? Not sure, but I think the description should be more straight forward about all ingredients. Im also thankful that he doesnt have an allergy to nuts, just an aversion.

This company's product is comparable to the finest chocolate companies in the world. This particular bar was creamy smooth dark chocolate with finely chopped nuts. The bar had 10 portions, each foil paper wrapped. The only downside, and I hate to say because the product is so good, was the shipping experience. They covered the bars with a cardboard sleve but the sleeve was a little short so the corners of the candy bars got a little dented. They also wrapped the shipment in a plastic wrap which would protect the product from rain damage, but they used a black plastic to wrap the product with. In summer time hot climates like Texas the black wrap will attract heat and keep heat it's like mailing chocolate in an oven. A simple change to a lighter color would reflect heat away. The chocolate will still get hot but the chocolate won't be building up heat. I hope they change this part of their packing process. I did call the company and talk to a supervisor about the issue. I will definitely keep ordering their products but the next few times will be in colder weather. The good news is that 3 hours in the refrigerator the chocolate set up and tasted great. The individually wrapped pieces helped it from becoming a chocolate glob. Admittedly, the factory look of perfectly form visual pleasing candy bar was at about 85 %. If you live in a hot climate and you order chocolate by mail it happens. If you love good quality chocolate this brand recovers with a fantastic taste in 2 or 3 hours.

Disappointed. The nuts in it tasted like they were past expiration.

Hands down the best chocolate I've ever eaten in my entire life. Edit: I have ordered this chocolate quite a few times within maybe the span of a few years possibly…., I just absolutely love it. For anyone wondering about the nuts, it’s all smoothly chopped in very small pieces to give it a slight crunch yet soft at the same time— and it makes it even better than if it were to simply be plain chocolate I feel. It really compliments it well.
