Have realistic expectations at this price point
My SC300 arrived last week and I have had it out on the range and the golf course a total of five times and have had absolutely no issues with it working, connecting with my iPhone, or data download. If you are expecting the same level of sophistication as say a Trackman for $30k or a Foresight GCQuad for $22k for every type of shot played you will be disappointed. I found the SC300 accurate between 50 yards up to 180 yards it both swing speed, ball speed and carry distance to what I have tested out with trackman both inside and outside. Above 180 yards, the sc300 was giving me too much credit as the swing speeds (averaging 5% faster) and carrying distances (averaging 20 yards farther) than I typically hit the ball. Great for the ego, but not practical when you are concerned about covering a hazard. But at this price point I have a tool to really dial in 8 out of 13 clubs (putters don’t count). The other item I found interesting is one golf club I tested the SC300 has ProV’s the other Titliest rock range balls. The difference was not statistically significant.

Exceptional product for the weekend warrior
Just buy it.For $500+ you’re getting an easy to read display of smash factor, ball speed, swing speed, and a bunch of other “info” that helps the average joe golfer improve their game. Plus, you can synchronize to a phone app (which I could care less for).I’ve shot with it for the last few weeks and used my range finder to verify the distance. Have also used my old swing radar beside it and the swing speeds are spot on each time.If you want $5k trackman accuracy, then this isn’t for you. But if you appreciate technology and realize the fact that almost none of us will ever be on the PGA tour, buy it.

Great product but needs a better APP
I have had the SC300 for several weeks. I used it outside a little but mostly have been hitting into a net in my basement. I am very happy with the purchase. I really like the way it announces yardage so you don't have to look at the screen. Seems pretty accurate but more importantly, it is consistent. You can clearly tell if you hit a good shot or a poor one.If they put some effort into improving the APP, I would give it more stars. The APP organizes data well enough but wish there was a way to delete garbage shots or identify shots being taken by a friend. The ability to export shot data to excel would be a big plus.

Disappointing tool. Inaccurate distance, random misses.
Distances are just not accurate. Even with the correct clubs and lofts, distances are overstated (long) compared to ball flight at lased targets. Also, it doesn't track every ball...missing around 1 on 5 shots at the range.

Great concept, not accurate enough.
Really cool concept that just doesn't deliver enough accuracy to be useful.I'm a 11 handycap and know my distance pretty well already. I have been to the range several times with the sc300 and have carefully set it up per instructions (club lofts customized and distance and height alignment exactly as directed in the manual) but never can get it to be accurate enough to make it worth it.For example, I hit 20, 50 deg gap wedges and measured the shots with a laser and it was only accurate about half the time. The rest of the time, it was reporting 5 to as much as 20 yards short of actual. I normally hit that club 115 to 122 yards and it would constantly report carry yardage of 95-100 when the ball was dropping in at 115+ as measured with a laser. The final straw was when I pured a shot that flew 123 yards and I looked down and the sc300 said, 95. I understand this isn't a $2200 track man or $20k gc quad and I was willing to accept some margin of error but 27 yards off with a wedge is too much.I really wanted to love it this thing, I almost kept it anyway but for $550 it just doesn't work well enough and I had to return it

Most Informative Tool
The Swing Caddy 300 accurately provides all information necessary to effectively evaluate your swing and, using the data, identify strengths and weaknesses. This allows you to spend practice time on specific issues with your golf swing. No more going to the range and just hitting balls without a specific plan to improve your game. A "must have" for golfers looking to improve their game.

Quality Control non-existent
My SC300 arrived tightly packaged, but failed to start despite a 6 hour USB charge. Dead on Arrival. Last month I also had purchased the SC200, which also is grossly inaccurate when verified against Trackman, especially for ranges greater than 75 yards. Both purchases a great disappointment, as these units never should have left the factory without thorough testing. What ever happened to the concept of quality assurance? Furthermore, the App is from an insecure site, and fails to allow for a full range of wedges - PW/AW/GW/SW/LW.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND OLYMPIC GOLF & SWING CADDIE 300
This is so easy to use my 8 yr old son mastered it in minutes and it keeps them so engaged on the range. I had some initial shipping problems but Olympic Golf dealt with it swiftly and surely, HIGHLY RECOMMEND BOTH THE SELLER AND THE PRODUCT WELL WORTH THE MONEY!

facile a utiliser, donnees correctes

Surprisingly More Accurate Than I expected
I did a lot of research deciding between this and the Flightscope Mevo, and so far the SC300 hasn't disappointed. During this crazy time I decided to buy this and a Quickhit net for the back garden. A quick synopsis of the pros and cons of the SC300:Pros are it's quite bang on to my on course numbers, is super neat and tidy, has all the data you'll need as an amateur like swing speed /ball speed /carry + total distance /launch angle /spin rate (in app) , and ties into the app on ios and android really nicely.Cons, it took about half a day to be able to log in to my Swing Caddie account after setup. I used two email addresses (thinking it was my @msn email causing issues) but no it was Swing Caddie's system. Eventually it just started working and I could login fine, I've had no issues since. Another con is spin rate. It's not accurate with driver. It's about 1000rpm off from my Trackman data from about a month ago. That's a lot of rpm's off! Sometimes with driver it doesn't pick up the shot, irons it's 95% perfect. It could be that I'm hitting into a net, so I'll give it the benefit of the doubt with that and spin for the moment. And that's it! It's been a great tool so far for at home practice. It knows when I've caught a ball heavy or thin, it knows a good shot too when I've thought to myself I really connected with that one. It's not going to be perfect, but check out some of the YouTube videos comparing this to a $20,000 Trackman 4 and you'll be pleasantly surprised just how much you get in this tiny package.
