I love how you can get all-around your eyes with the point and not have to use your fingers! It is also great for dabbing on bits of concealer to cover those problem spots like age spots and other blemishes with the correct concealer and/or foundation. I did find slightly bigger ones on WISH that were almost the exact same for much less and you got 3 all different shapes! I recommend these for applying makeup but you may need to shop around for the best deal and get more for your money!

Smell: These arrived and had a weird chemical smell so I proceeded to wash them the way I wash my 2 other blender sponges (with soap and water). The first one fell apart right away, as soon as I started pressing it between my fingers. I started washing the 2nd one and it made it through the wash, sorta, I wasn't able to wash all of the soap out because I was afraid it would fall apart too. I trashed the 2nd one also because I felt uncomfortable with the smell.Texture: The texture was not the same as my other blender sponges. When dry it felt like there was a hole in the middle of the sponge (don't know if there actually was a hole). It also felt rougher than my other sponges.Swell: After I wet them they swelled to the size of a regular blender sponge when it's dry. So it ended up being too big.

Can this be compared to higher brands such as the BeautyBlender, or other more expensive options? Not entirely.When I received this beauty sponge, it was a lot smaller than I expected. There was a noticeable chemical odor that stayed around for the first couple of times that I washed it, but eventually did go away. However, the real downfall is when I tried using it on my face. Due to the size, there was little chance for me to use it as foundation, so I veered towards concealer. How I use my sponges is when it's damp (not saturated) with water before placing the product on the sponge and 'bouncing' it on my face. The best way I can describe how it applied my concealer was that it sort of just moved the product around. I tend to look for a sponge to really bounce/get the product on my skin, and blend it seamlessly around my eyes. Instead, it picked up the foundation that I had put down and just moved the concealer around so that it was uneven and patchy. I was extremely unhappy with the outcome, and had to remove the mess that occurred to restart.Maybe I was using it incorrectly. But for the price, I think this is a great place to start with beauty sponges to get an idea on how they work. But, if you are looking for repurchase, or need a sponge for foundation, I would suggest looking past this product.

Honestly when I first got them I was a little disappointed because they felt a bit rubbery. But they work fine dry. A lot of people say they don't change size when you damp them but just look at the pictures !! They work soooo much better when they're damp & they get super big and fluffy. Will buy more definitely.Tip: when damping the sponges don't just run them under the water. Make sure to squeeze them under the water a couple times to really get them fluffy and soft.

i have bought the other slightly bigger makeup sponge from the same brand and/or seller and that one i wet it once and it ripped from inside out in half which was dissapointed since it took a month to get here yet i never got to use it but this mini green one i did not wet right away i used it for foundation, concealer, baking, and highlight without wetting and it works great i love how it evens out everything and leaves a flawless finish and it made my makeup last longer than when i use a brush to apply my makeup. i did ended cleaning it with water but my makeup did stained the sponge quite a bit but still works amazing . when cleaning i kept skeezing out all the water and not let it get filled with water right away so it wouldnt ripp in half again. I did order 2 more an extra for me and one for my mom .

I'm really disappointed in so many reviewers claiming that this sponge is comparable to the beauty blender. It's definitely not. I wouldn't normally be dumb enough to buy a makeup blending sponge online for 80 cents but it was so hyped up, I went against my better judgement.Pretty sure this is made out of latex. It's relatively dense & doesn't absorb any water. When I bought this the description did not mention that. It's also not the same size as either the micro mini beauty blender or the original. It's kind of in between?That being said, I use it to apply translucent powder when I bake & its fine for that. Honestly though, a plain old wedge sponge would do the same job.

This little mini blender was just OK for me. It didn't expand when I soaked it in water and I found that it was a little too hard for my liking. It didn't blend my foundation out as nicely as my RealTechniques sponge and it was actually quite small. Because of the size, it took twice or even three times as long to bounce the foundation into my skin which can be pretty time consuming in the morning. However, the size can also play to its advantage. It's pretty ideal for the under eye area. I like to use this sponge to blend out my highlight/ concealer and it does a great job. Would I purchase this product again though? Maybe not.

I really like the feel of this makeup blender and it does work great. I just wish that I would have paid more attention to the fact that it is a mini blender. The blender is small enough to help blend makeup around my eyes but is really too small to use on the rest of my face. It also kind of hard to hold onto because the size is so small and I have small hands so I can imagine if your hands are larger it would really be a challenge to get a good grip on it. However, if a mini blender is what you are looking for this blender does work really well for its size.
