Great jar. I intend to make up some KIMCHI. is this. Lid fits tight, it's plastic which is good duets the face that fermentation might rust metal. Very pleased

My jar broke and glad I found a same size replacement. If you cook, it's great for flour and sugar storage.

So handy & much more visually appealing than product packaging. I use these things everywhere, for everything, from dry dog food, ground coffee & laundry detergent to stray nuts, bolts, nails, and coins. The glass jars are a little heavier than the plastic version, but who cares. High quality. No-fuss screw-on top, with a good seal. Go for it.

Use this to make sun tea

Not sure why, but mine came with a lid that had a hole in the middle and some weird attachment to put in the top. I thought I was just getting a simple jar and lid. I put plastic wrap over the top before putting on the lid, so no harm done.

I’m venturing into the world of kombucha and bought this jar to make my SCOBY. It was a great price compared to some of the other jars. The glass does seem a bit on the thin side but so far it’s serving the purpose fine. We’ll see how long it lasts but my tea and SCOBY seems to be happy in it so far.

This mason jar has the perfect thickness: not too thick (heavy) and not too thin...just right. I use it to make salsa and it's just what I was looking for. Will be buying another one soon. Thanks for a quality product!
