Lasted exactly 6 months before the wiring started to burn inside the oven
I spent 3 hours reading reviews on lots of toaster ovens before finally choosing this one & I am very glad with my choice! The hardest thing to find is a toaster oven that is not stainless & has good features. So far after using it for reheating food, making toast, and baking bread I can say that it is doing a good job in all the modes that I've tried. It actually bakes a loaf of bread much faster than my previous toaster oven so I have to tweak my proofing & baking times to get a great result. It had a well-written manual & a 3-year warranty included. Update 6 months later: getting a strong electrical burning smell while toasting bread. Am afraid it will start a fire if I continue using it!!

Not pleased at all.
Oven door would not close properly. A gap was at the top between the oven door and oven surface. I have a old GE convection oven. The door on it closes flush to the oven. I am in the process of returning.

Decent replacement for old, white, larger Black and Decker toaster oven
When looking to replace an older white Black and Decker toaster oven, I found that most of the newer Black and Decker ovens were much smaller. This posed a problem because the so-called 4 slice toaster ovens sound fine but are really small. Thus, we decided to look around. Personally, I see no reason to break the bank on a toaster oven. We use it to toast (obviously) and cook small amounts of items for lunches and such. Also, warming up leftovers like pizza is a need.We saw from an Amazon search that you can really spend quite a bit. When looking at our local Ocean State Job Lot, we stumbled upon this oven. For $60, it seemed like a decent deal. It adds convection which is fine. While it is not digital, it appears to be sufficient for our needs. I would like to see a flatter top since I can already tell things will slide behind the unit but that is a minor flaw. The pull our crumb tray is nice.We will update as use ramps up and the family reports back. Enjoy!***UPDATE APRIL 2015***After using this for a month or so, we have learned a few things. For warming up food and heating small amounts of frozen items, this oven works well. We have tried the convection setting yet. The placement of the rack is a choice one has to make. We found that of the two choices, the higher of the two makes the most sense. This can be used for toasting as well as heating. To me, the lower rack setting is too close to the lower heating element thus making it possible for food to be cooked less evenly. We will have to investigate this more.Toasting is somewhat sensitive. It works well but the setting is determined by the warmth prior to starting. If the elements are cool, it takes a little longer (obviously). I would like to see a little bit better toasting but it does the job fine.Overall, we are pleased with the purchase to date and have no major issues. Good luck!

It worked great..
We bought this toaster oven at our local Ocean State Job Lot. It worked great.... for about 5 months. Now I can touch the heating element after 10 minutes and I won't get burned. From one minute to the next it just stopped working. And I can't return it. Thanks alot!
