Just a really well written book, I've had books like this before and while they tell you how best to store goods they don't explain there reasoning which to a degree this book does, it also tells you how long and the best way to defrost each item which is dead useful.

Nice little book, really easy to use and has already proved a good buy. Helpul listing of food alphabetically so that you can just dip in and see a note on most things. Recommended

Excellent book. It saves wasting food as well. Even though it is an older publishing it is still very relevant.

It's a useful book, but as the title says it's simply a reprint of and old Home and Economics book we got free years and years ago.Nothing updated as far as I can see.Is it worth the money? Expensive. which is why it gets nothing better than OK, but only just OK.

Thus book is indespensible for knowing what can freeze and how long. I just wish a new edition could be made. I absolutely love this book. It is a replacement for a previous one I lost.

This book is priceless for anyone who freezes their summer harvest or for anyone who would like to freeze foods that they purchase at the market. You will learn foods that freeze well and foods that do not. This book explains the best methods on how to accomplish it. This is a gift for my sister and I know she will love it.
