Works better than expected
The assembly went as expected, but I almost didn't find the nuts for the wheels. The were in the rubber "bumpers" on the axles which I thought were just a good idea to keep the threads protected during shipping. I happened to notice them when I was about to toss. They are also a bit of pain to remove from the rubber, requiring a vice and sharp knife. There was nothing in the build instructions about where to find the nuts. I was about to see if I had nuts in my collection I could use. Add a line or two about the direction the tires/wheels should go would help as these are directional wheels. Nothing said in the directions. BUT it works great, goes up my hills better than hoped for. Seems stable. It bounces with light loads on gravel due to slippage, might be the tires are still on backwards and that may help. Already thought of things to haul I didn't know I needed hauled! Only had this in use 2 days! Update if things are worse over time. Seems like the battery is lasting longer than I expected (gell battery). Like this better all the time after a few weeks. Charge lasts longer than expected too! It's late July 2025 and the battery is starting to fade. I am charging about every day I use it. I am looking for a new battery, still think it's well worth the cost, I happened to find it on sale at about $500, but something around $1000 seems the new price and I'd buy it with Lithium batteries at that price, but it's never that cold here. AGM battery for the cold is better. The back little caster wheel tire is shot. The tread is coming loose and I ordered a new one today. A little hard to find something with a centered (not offset) axle. Seems to only be one from Amazon WITH a never flat tire which is what I want. Again, I probably legitimately just wore it out on rough terrain. Otherwise, the cart still works just great! Update: I think it's been two years now and this is about the best garden tool I ever bought! I am getting old (80) and this helped enormously to help me keep up with gardening. I use it for all my hauling needs around our large yard, about 2 acres. The battery lasts and I've never loaded so much in it it wouldn't haul it. Unlike wheelbarrows, I haven't tipped it over while loading either! My soil gets loose in the dry period of summer and it digs in on the uphill parts. Usually I turn around and it will back up better with less spinning. Most of my property is quite hilly and I usually haul up hill!

Amazing and mighty. Read whole review
Update.. I just have to tell you about how amazing the customer service was with great circle USA. They are the product manufacturers. I've had my cart for about 2 years I have never been nice to it. And it has stayed running like a champion. However for whatever reason my charger stopped working altogether. I was not able to talk to anybody in customer service Because Of the virus. Their offices have been closed. However they take email. So I sent them an email with the model number and all the information to find out how I could order a new charger. They then sent me out a brand new charger and thank me for my original purchase. When it arrived it turned out that they sent me a ballast. I sent them a new email informing them of what I had. And what I needed. I also made it perfectly clear that I was more than willing to pay them for the new charger. However they sent me a brand new charger once again for free did not ask for the ballast back. And they apologize for the mix up. I now have a new charger and my batteries are charging As I write this. Since the arrival of my cart I have had to talk to Amazon customer service and great circle USA customer service. I have had a wonderful experience with both. I just received my package today. It was a day early so that was excellent. However I've never received a package in this state of beat up. However the factory packed it very well so little damage was actually done. But there is damaged. The box that holds the batteries. Is extremely flimsy. This was broken in several places and one whole side doesn't function at all. The blue cage Kart bed feels decent. However the sides that you pin on and off. We're already bent when I got them. And I don't think they could withstand any misuse at all. I have seen plenty of plastic made items that were more robust. I honestly think that they are going to tear right off and this is going to be a flatbed only. Since the battery box was broken on arrival. Some of the batteries have fallen out and the wires were dislodged. So I had to unscrew everything and put it back together. They use only one color battery cable. So I didn't know whether to wire in series or sequence. Not that difficult if you know what you're looking for. It does not say whether it needs to be on or off when it's in charge. I assume off. I have been charging for 3 hours with no change in indication. Okay so when I first got the card it was broken. But it's not that much different than electric golf cart. I finally got it working and then tried to see what it could do. What I found out was amazing. Discard can do anything as long as you think about it. The sides and tailgate for the cart are terrible. They're very weak and flimsy. Everything else is more than excellent. For instance it says that it can only handle a 15 degree slope. I easily had it on an upwards of 80 degrees slopes. I've climb steps with a load. No way to actually tell what my loads have been. But I would average around 300 pounds per load. I have an 8-acre property. Many Hills and I was able to get an entire down tree. From the back of the property all the way back to the house. I had to cut it up and it took a lot of trips. What was amazing is the terrain was able to cover. I believe this cart could do anything you want it to do. As long as you're willing to figure out how to make it do it. I took the sides and tailgate off of mine. Took an old wheelbarrow. And installed that onto the platform. In a manner I'm able to take off when necessary. And that worked great for me. I do backfilling foundations. And I am absolutely going to take this on to my next job. I have no idea Under full load how long the batteries will last. However I also don't think that that's an issue. If you think you're going to be using the cart over such long periods of time. I a second set of batteries. They are extremely easy to install and take out. If you always have a second set then you always have a full charge. I sincerely have to get some pictures of what I've done. Because I have taken this card everywhere and put it through an amazing amount of challenges. It has come through as well as my skid steer does. It has power. If you've ever been using a two-wheel tiller and had it grab and jump. This can do the same thing. I'm sure my review started off Rocky as if I wasn't going to like it. But this has to be one of the greatest things I've ever ordered off of Amazon. Hands down this will help any job. It is exceptionally easy to load into the back of a truck or van if you have the space. I am absolutely taking this to Lowe's with me anytime I have to pick up anything. It's much easier to handle them their carts inside. If you're thinking about buying this cart. Buy it. It's absolutely worth it. Whatever the job is it will work for you. There's really not enough good you can say about it. And it's very quiet. But the power is amazing. If you could make the ramps sturdy and long enough it'll haul shingles right up onto a roof. Absolutely worth every penny you will be very happy with your purchase. I hope the review is helpful and I'll have to get some pictures up so you can see the different sized Hills I've had this go up and down. So I've read a few reviews saying that the cart works for a couple of months really well and then just stops working. The wires connecting the batteries are just push connections. They absolutely can will and do come loose every once in awhile. I can honestly say it takes less than 5 minutes to open the battery box reconnect the wires and go. As long as you're not getting this unit wet I'm pretty sure it will just continue to work until the motor goes. Of course the batteries that are in it are common batteries that do wear out. But having worked with a battery several times I'm certain they have around a 2-year life cycle at full charge. However if you never let your batteries wear down and charge back up your range for high-use will be very low. I am still beating mine up every other day and it begs for more abuse. Simply put I would wager that some of these complaints are more operator errors. Not a true picture of the cart.

GREAT WAGON! Some Issues...
Out in the country this wagon is about as necessary as a cat, but for entirely different reasons, of course. With it's huge mud-digger tires and plenty of torque, the wagon powers over rough terrain and even several inches of snow. Useful as a wagon, a dump wagon, or a flatbed this little wagon can really do it all. Best of all, the three-wheel, tadpole design yields great maneuverability, allowing you to get up close to your loading zones and turn around in places you thought youโd have to avoid. The price-tag was a little high, but we wanted a vehicle to use instead of our lawn tractor and wagon. We were looking for an electric option and the Landworks had all the features we wanted. Cheaper than another lawn tractor, we thought weโd give it a try. The out of box experience was not good. The carton was badly damaged in shipping and it wasnโt long after opening that I found that the battery box was crushed. Everything in the carton was packed with great care, but strangely, the heaviest assembly in the entire device was secured the least. The rubber tires were packed with layers of high-density foam, but the battery assembly was left on its own to face the trials of UPS. Customer Service at Landworks answered promptly and had a new battery box on the way in no time. Iโm sure they have the packaging up to ISTA standards now, as we were told that we were customer #1. Armed with a fresh battery box, I set about assembling the unit. Assembly was pretty easy and most of the bolts were the same size, so tool swapping wasnโt needed at all. Iโm ashamed to say, I was a little confused about the side grates. Theyโre removable, so you can use the wagon as a flatbed, but they only fit one way, and, as you can guess, thatโs not the way I chose to assemble the wagon the first time. One small item; the free-wheeling steering wheel has an open bearing with a grease fitting. There is no mention in the manual of greasing the bearing, but it is shipped dry and is an open ball bearing. There is a fitting, so fill it up full of grease. I was also worried about the brake on the free-wheeling caster wheel, it is very close to the surface of the tire and I was worried that snow would get packed in the clearance. We had a freak snow with several inches, so I loaded up the wagon full of wood and drove a load from the barn. The wagon performed fantastically! The wheel did not bog down with snow, and there was plenty of torque to drive through several inches of snow. I can zip this little wagon into a two-car garage between the cars and drop a load of wood at the front of the car. I canโt do that with a lawn tractor. Pros: Highly maneuverable, versatile, quiet, plenty of power, long battery life, and great customer service. Cons: Poorly packaged, soft steel sides. For us itโs mostly used for hauling logs and firewood. Without question, I would buy the wagon again.

A must have!
First let me tell you, I searched everywhere on internet daily for three weeks prior to buying looking at all the reviews (both written and video), of not only the landworks but other manufacturers of similar products. All of them were extremely helpful in my final decision to purchase this one. The most common complaint was delivery, but Amazon made good on that with one phone and it was delivered a week later in a perfectly nice, undamaged box. I saw a video of a person using some extreme unnecessary measures putting it together, but it was just one. For me and everyone else it went together in twenty minutes including unpacking it, extremely easy, with only a wrench set, needle nose pliers, and a hammer for tapping in the wheel pins. Very easy assembly. I also bought the trailer hitch attachment that goes to it (optional, and sold separately), which is added assembly, and still very quick and easy assembly. My biggest concern (which I only found one video of) was... the description of it says it will only do a 15% grade climbing. The video I finally found sold me on larger grades, even though his load was small. I two 25ft long, 40% to 45% grade hills in my yard and one of then is from the street to the house, with no driveway... this Landworks Power Wagon had no trouble climbing AT ALL! I will note, for people using it on this grade, this (or any other, that I searched for) power wagon HAS NO BRAKES... be prepared to Hadley the weight of the wagon pulling or pushing you down the hill, and I would never recommend trying it loaded with anything... the weight of wagon going downhill is not easy to control even for someone my size! (But not impossible) you just need to be prepared before you start. Going up hill though... this wagon doesn't think twice or hesitate at all with a full 500lb load. I have now done this a half dozen times still on it first charge with no issues... might I recommend people understand a little bit about physics before attempting a steep hill... going up a steep hill you should go backwards, putting all the weight on the drive tires, which gives it traction and is easier to control. So if you can't tell, I love this thing and it's going to make life so much easier from, landscaping, caring for chicken feed/hey/and wood chips, to moving the boat around if needed, to bringing up monthly shopping groceries! My neighbor's all saw me doing all the above with it on day one of owning it and they all can't believe how amazing it works, the power it has, and the add-ons options that it offers. All of them said their going out to buy one as soon as possible. Maybe I should upload a video later, if I'm able to. This machine is a godsend for every homeowner and I can see its practicality in many workplaces as well. So in conclusion, I have to pick something I don't like about it... that's really hard to do. But if I was being nitty-gritty I'd say... it could really use a breaking system even a bike disk brake would help (but in my research, they have to current plans to upgrade that part of it). And maybe I say that the steel fencing of the could be a little thicker and welded in place (easily upgradable by consumer with a little plywood as I saw some do in there video's...just remember the weight of the plywood reduces your load weight capacity). Uh, that was really hard to do but there you have it. If you've taken the time to read this review all the way to this point... your like me, you've already made up your mind, and you should just do it! I promise, I and so many others have not regretted it! If I've left anything out, or you still have questions... I'll do my best to answer them as fast as possible. If my wife ever has a chance to take a video or pictures of me using it... I will post them to this review.

Great cart! โ HORRIBLE SUPPORT
REVISED 2023: I ordered (and paid for) replacement wheels from the Great Circle USA website more than a month ago. They still havenโt shipped them yet. After a few emails they said โit does look like we have not been able to ship this order quite yet, and I do apologize for the delay. We have been a bit behind. I will try and get this out as soon as possible. - Blakeโ โ buy that was 2 weeks ago and they still havenโt shipped. They are located in California, so am I. Whatโs going on?! REVISED REVIEW 2022: customer service responded promptly (after I changed my review to negative) -- too bad they didn't respond after several emails and phone calls over the past 1-2 months. But in the end they sent a new charger for free, and I'm very happy with the cart again. REVISED REVIEW 2022: battery isnโt charging properly and doesnโt last long. Customer support used to be great before COVID but now Iโm early 2022 they are very unresponsive. I need help! I loved this great machineโฆ ORIGINAL REVIEW 2019: I have been using this every weekend for the past 4 months, and it's incredible. I can haul hundreds of pounds of sand, gravel, dirt - whatever. When one of my wheels disintegrated prematurely, they promptly sent me a new one free of charge. I can use it for at least a day or two pretty much all day, on just one charge. I am on a hill 20% grade, and it would be a lot better if there was a hand brake of some sort, but the foot brake is better than nothing. I LOVE this thing and I recommend it to anyone who is doing landscaping or other hauling. It's quiet and powerful.

Powerful cart large enough for fire wood - still going strong
At my age, I was all done with pushing a one wheel wheelbarrow loaded with fire wood from the barn to the house 5 months a year. Research led me to this blue cart in my price range. Easy to assemble. Delivered by UPS into the front bucket of my tractor. This is because I'm old and the crate is HEAVY so I could move it effortlessly for assembly (THANKS UPS!). Now we're well into Michigan winter and I've used it many times to move that fire wood through "some" snow, ice, wet grass and inclines. Folks - this cart worked through all that. I was worried but not anymore. I can carry an easy 35% more fire wood than the wheelbarrow with no pushing! On pavement, even loaded, I have to throttle down a bit LOL. It is powerful. If I wanted to haul even more wood, I could probably build some thin plywood walls for a higher load. So far, not unhappy on the capacity really. I see why some people have remarked trouble with the single rear wheel. Knowing that, I do carefully move it so that wheel is properly aligned to the direction I want to go. Moves well in both forward and reverse. Batteries seem to not need much charging but it's a mild winter so far with little snow. These are the AGM batteries. Customer Service: non-existent for me prior to purchase. They never answered any of 3 emails and a phone call with questions. This company has 3 versions of the cart under different names and the only difference I see it battery type. So I sincerely hope I do not need them in the future. This I am worried about and so should you. Pandemic or not. Super happy I didn't let that dissuade me from buying the cart because I am really happy with it. This cart might make your life easier! ***UPDATE 12-18-2023*** Cart is still going strong 2 years later. Absolutely zero problems. Batteries stay charged with minimal recharge. I haul as much firewood as can fit in it. If the quality of this cart has remained - this cart at today's price should be all the motivation you need to buy it. *** UPDATE 1-26-2025 *** 3+ years and this cart still works as hard as it did when purchased. I use this cart to haul firewood from the barn to the house in rain, snow and ice. Traction is obviously better when loaded down with heavy cargo. Aside from the initial poor CS experience, I haven't had a need to contact them so this purchase was worth every penny! Changing from 4 to 5 star.

Impressed... sort of... but not nearly as much as I should have been...
Product: Landworks AGM Electric Utility Cart - 500W Lead-Acid Battery-Powered Power Wagon, 500 lbs Load Capacity & 1000 lbs Towing, Heavy-Duty Motorized for Garage, Warehouse, and Outdoor Use Review: Here's a calloused-knuckles-man's perspective of this thing, complete with some calloused-knuckles-man photos. Overall... it's a neat machine, a backsaver. I wish they had offered just the mechanicals for a reduced price, of course, with no electronics (but with the transaxle and motor). Impressions: the ag tires are nice, mostly under heavy load. Without that load, the lugs just slide around and any ol' turf tires would have worked. The... paint job is nice. The tiltbed is nice, although vaguely implemented (the latch should really have barely been able to latch - see latch photo). The color stands out among all our other machines. Very unusual. The expanded metal (wire) decks and walls... are awfully flimsy. I wouldn't carry any big weight in it without adding (at least) 1/2" plywood to the inside deck and 1/4" plywood to the walls. Steel's steel, but steel stretches and goes all permanent. My biggest two complaints are both about the charging system. First... the connector (see photo). The big battery charger, rated at 57.6VDC 2.0A, connects to the "Whalebarrow" via a standard IEC 60320-C15 plug, which is exactly compatible with a world standard IEC 60320-C13 "kettle cord", the same one that powers your TV, your computer monitor, your desktop computer... at 120VAC or 240VAC and up to 15A. The socket on the "Whalebarrow" itself is an IEC 60320-C14, which perfectly happily accepts either plug. This means by extension that if some "helpful" or curious individual who cannot find the stock charger (because you hid it) does manage to find a power cord for your computer monitor... they can absolutely plug it into the "Whalebarrow's" charging port with no hindrance whatever, volcanoing your batteries and your PMDC wheelmotor controller all in one big BANG. My second complaint is about the charger itself. The control box contains no charge controller; the IEC connector connects directly to the batteries. And... the "brick" that ships with the machine isn't really a lead-acid battery charger. Nosir. It's a fixed-voltage 57.6V power supply, and that means that each 12V lead-acid battery in the battery box gets, under the most favorable possible conditions, 14.4VDC (2.4V per cell) continuous. Now, the Great Unwashed may not see that as a problem... but those of us with some education about lead-acid batteries know very well that a battery should never see that high a charging voltage for any great long time because it'll greatly shorten the battery's life. Your car's alternator would never do that to your car's battery. No, a good charger will charge your battery in three charging modes; first is fixed-current variable-voltage to do the bulk of the charging, and second is fixed-voltage variable-current to bring the battery up to near-finished charge, and third is lower fixed-voltage float charge to counter self-discharge by holding the battery at (usually) just about 2.25 volts per cell, 13.5V per 12V battery. That's at industry standard room temperature. The charger also needs to compensate for temperatures lower or higher than room temperature. This "charger's" simple-minded charging voltage is barely below the voltage at which the battery will start gassing, and losing electrolyte, when charged at room temperature. If charged at any higher temperature, the batteries in this machine will absolutely offgass, losing electrolyte. Aaaand... this charger cannot keep up with charging a battery at very low temperatures (approaching 0*F); it simply doesn't provide enough voltage for that. It's simple enough to buy a decent 12V 3-stage charger for about $20, but that would need to be connected to each internal battery individually, meaning that you'd need to bring all the battery connections out to the front unless you want to fight with that control box's lid every time you want to charge your batteries. Much better would be a 48V 3-stage charger, which really should never cost more than about $35... and of course, use a different connector for that charger. Me, I'm now building my own 3-stage 48V battery charger. For the moment, I'm using a 60V variable-voltage variable-current lab power supply because I happen to own one for my electronics bench. It won't take long for me to finish a good three-stage charger controlled by an Arduino. My third, uncounted, complaint is about that control box itself. If you ever open it all the way, so as to get a look at the wheel controller (which is just a cheap import PMDC hoverboard controller)... take my word for it: you WILL struggle mightily to get it all closed back up and the screws all back in. They could so easily have made that box a mere 1/2" taller, but noooo. Upshot: I'd buy this again, for the same $609.48 I paid for mine. I wouldn't be overeager, though, and I would never pay the more than $1000 that they've been asking for exactly the same machine at different times in this very same listing. Looks like the price right now has dropped a little below what I paid. Cool. Second upshot: if you buy one, take heed and expect to need to do something more clever with the charger... or to replace batteries really pretty frequently. It's a neat machine. It could use a lot of improvement, though. Oh, wait. The side latches. Please... the nuts should have been Nylocks. If you can't find Nylock nuts for yours, then at least booger up the threads after you put the nuts on. If you do not... then those nuts will fall out somewhere on your property and your side latches won't hold your sides on any more forever. By all means... try to find Nylock nuts for those.

Sturdy. My favorite yard tool.
I've only had it a couple of weeks, but this is an awesome beast of a yard machine! Remarkably well packed - lots of foam padding. Kudos to the packaging engineer. In spite of the best efforts of the delivery driver to mangle the box, all was received in good shape. Easy to assemble. Delivered with battery fully charged! I used the cart to haul 38 bags of mulch, a half cord of fire wood and 4 loads of junk uphill 200 yards and the battery indicator still shows green. It seems the cart's only limit is my ability to keep the load balanced while going over my bumpy mountain terrain. Going uphill in loose soil, it will dig the tires in like a rototiller, but a little push keeps the cart and a heavy load going. Other reviewers complained about the cart sidewalls, but they seem sturdy enough for what I use it for. There is a small problem with the speed controller. When new, the speed controller was spring loaded, returning to the stop position unless your thumb was pushing it down. A good safety mechanism. The spring return action recently stopped. Now the speed controller stays down and the cart keeps going until you pull the control lever up. I found this out when I ran the cart full of firewood into the stack of firewood. Gotta be real careful putting it into the garage next to my wife's car. I hope the customer service can help with the controller problem, but I'll keep using this awesome beast even if I have to hot wire it. Update after 2 years. Still Awesome! Never bothered to replace the speed controller - it works just fine without the spring return action. I've moved tons (literally) of firewood, bricks, bags of mulch and other heavy stuff. Had to replace the little rear wheel. I didn't keep enough air in the tire and the full load of bricks made the tire squirm around when backing up and chewed up the sidewall. My fault. Got a solid tire for replacement. The batteries now don't hold a full charge for as long - the green LED goes out after just a few minutes of use, but the batteries still hold a charge long enough to get a good deal of work done. One of the best purchases I've ever made.
