Quite frankly, it’s brilliant!
This rack is fantastic. Out of box and on to the car in seconds. No tweaking or fiddling just plug and play. I’ve already had 3 different bikes, of different sizes, including an e-bike on it, and all are held securely in place. Build quality superb, folds up to a nice compact size too.Delivery came early too, so full 5 stars for this purchase. This rack was £200 less expensive than a similar rack from a Swedish manufacturer, I’ve bought their products too, over the years and I have to say that this rack is every bit as good as theirs.

Excellent quality for price.
Superb quality. Fast delivery by UPS. The only issue we have found is the 13 pin plug. The orientation is slightly out so does not line up as you’d think. The plug did not line up with the socket. Therefore the socket cap does not sit on top of the plug. This is not an issue but, did cause confusion.

Well engineered
Just used the carrier for the first time, a sturdy unit which folds down to a nice compact size and has a bag, each part folds out and clicks firmly into place. These units are designed to clamp onto the tow bar and have no other means of attachment to the car, as such the clamp is very firm which means you need a lot of strength to get the handle down and it clamped on, whilst of course supporting the unit. I feel this could have been made easier if they just made the handle a little bit longer and therefore reduce the effort needed - I have made up a short slip on tube to help me.Driving, my confidence is improving, have an e-bike and a normal hybrid bike on it and so far so good, just need to remember it is there and sticks out a bit.The instruction manual is small (A5) in size and thus all the diagrams are fairly small and printed in grey which makes them very hard to read.Delivery was a day early and fortunately I had just arrived home as I was advised the package needed to be signed for, if you quote a day, please keep to it..If it was not for the poor instruction manual and the short leaver I would have given this 5 stars.

Heavy duty German Engineered
I had a lightweight Thule 2 bike carrier but having bought an e-bike in 2019 weighing around 25 Kgs I realised that the capacity for the e-bike plus another bike, e or not, meant that the Thule was over its weight limit, so I sold that and bought the more stronger Westfalia BC60.As other reviewers have said it is heavy and when lowered on to the towbar it takes a fair amount of grunt to close the handle to lock the carrier on to the towbar. However it fixes solidly and can then be locked on and the key removed. The lock is an integral part of the carrier and not an extra like on the Thule. The two adjustable arms that fix to the two bicycle frames also have intergral locks for locking the bikes to the carrier. There is one key size which fits all three locks, and they provide a spare. In the case of carrying an e-bike as the diagional down tube is so wide with the battery casing the clamp from the bike rack will fit the down tube instead, no problem. The wheel straps have a ratchet action for tightening them so they hold the wheels tightly to the channels on the bike carrier. The carrier case with velcro fastening is very good quality. For storage I bought the wall mounting bracket also. Expensive for what it is, but very neat - it does the job of keeping the bike rack off the ground in my garage where it is stored. The carrier was ordered via Amazon UK and despite the new trading rules as a result of Brexit there was no duty or admin fees to pay when it was delivered (March 2021).I'm glad I bought the Westfalia BC60, I'm sure it will last.

Good Product
Quick delivery.Product as described.Easy fitted to tow bar and easy to open and remove. Now for the negative. I had to pay a import fee deposit of £147.39.I requested DHL to provide me with import duty paid which came to approximately (by exchange rates) £100.00. What's happens to the remaining deposit?

Will not clamp to a step through ebike like my Reiese & Muller- Homarge 4.
Arrived damaged; dropped on one corner packaging will not survive a drop this had. smashed light.

Takes two eMTBs for a very competitive price.
The Westfalia takes a maximum load of 60kgs at around half the price of the premium brands usually on sale in the UK. It is well-designed and very solidly built. It comes fully assembled with a robust carrying case. A standard number plate slots neatly into integral clips and a converter adapts the lights to a UK standard trailer plug. If there is a downside it is the inevitable result of all that solidity; it weighs a hefty 18kgs. Not to be easily carried around and fitted unless you are pretty strong. It arrived well-packed and quickly. I’m pleased with my purchase and confidently expect many years of efficient service from it.

Great e-bike rack - once you get it fitted on your tow bar
This is a high quality product that works really well but only 4 stars because I nearly returned it when I could not get it to fit on my tow ball. The instructions are very basic and the lockable closing lever that clamps the rack securely onto the tow ball simply would not close, even with all my weight on it.Frustrated and worried about how I would re-package the bike rack to return it, I googled Westfalia's UK contact details and got through to Steve in the Tech Support team. When I explained my problem - a bike rack that I couldn't clamp onto the tow ball - he straight away explained that there is a hidden adjustment nut under a black plastic cover. Five minutes later, having slackened the nut slightly with an adjustable spanner, the rack was on my car. Why on earth doesn't it explain that you might need to adjust that nut in the instructions?
