Pretty Magical!
Wow!Of course, I scraped against a yellow pole in the parking garage just before planning to trade in my car. It was mostly color deposit, but also some medium scratching. After the first application with a microfiber cloth, I already saw a difference. After the 5th, I was majorly impressed.I was able to buff out the small surface scratches completely. The deeper ones, I got the yellow paint out and made noticeable improvements. And it didn’t ruin my brand new gel mani! What a product!

Great Product: If your expectations are realistic.
I'm not an expert, but despite the challenges of keeping black cars clean, I've owned them for years. I hand wash them and treat minor scratches myself. This product will only 'remove' the very slightest smudges/scratches. It will however make any scratch or swirl mark look significantly better. As long as it's NOT down to the paint, or completely through the clear coat. It's simply not possible.I use this product with the 'by hand' instructions for all minor scratches and door dings. Be sure to limit your application to the smallest area possible (e.g. only the scratch). Apply just enough pressure - best way to do this is start light, then slightly increase pressure as needed on secondary applications. After using this product I apply a standard car wax paste. The scratches are still there and noticeable because I know exactly where they're at. But if you ask someone to find the spot on your car it will be difficult for them. They won't be able too, or they'll have to look very closely. So to the casual observer, your car will look great if you use the product correctly and have realistic expectations.

Works on specific scratches
I could not wait to get this product, as I saw it in action on a video. However, my experience, while good, was not quite what I was expecting. The product worked on specific scratches, i.e. horizontal scratches and paint transfer scratches. I did not try it on swirls. It did not work on vertical scratches, even after several attempts. I still believe this to be a good product (the four star rating) as the scratches I needed to remove were horizontal and paint transfer. My husband's vehicle, on the other hand, had vertical scratches, that are still there. Also, I did not need to wear gloves or use a wax afterwards like most other products!

Not impressed and didn’t work for my use to cover my truck scratch
I’ve been let down. Yes, my scratch was pretty bad by someone who is vandalizing my truck. But this didn’t really help improve my scratches cover up.

Works great using hand application
I think the pictures speak for themselves, the product works well. I tried using plain polishing compound at first but it wasn't cutting the paint as easily as I was hoping for so I bought this with the compound as a "just in case" and I'm sure happy I did. I did mine by hand, it takes a little elbow grease and sweat but it is doable.I sprayed the area with a car soap and water mix, dried it off with a clean towel, applied the scratch remover as instructed(rub for 30 seconds, reapply, repeat until desired results are achieved), removed the product with a clean applicator pad, cleaned the areas with car soap and water again, and then lastly I applied a coat of wax to the areas. The paint transfer on the doors was a big job and probably took about 7-10 applications for the results I wanted. It probably would have been better to use an orbital buffer for that part. I also used this on the lighter key scratches around the door handle and it worked beautifully on that as well. However, I didn't take pictures of that since it was an afterthought.10/10 would recommend to others.

Might Work on Light Scratches
Seems to work on light scratches. Not going to work on deep scratches.

This does not work for Matte Finishes.
On the label not for matte finishes but I didn’t realize that or I would not have purchased.
