A Good Bully Stick but Not the Best
I just recently began giving my dog, Jett, bully sticks so I have limited experience with them. The GigaBite bully stick is only the second brand I've purchased so I can only compare it to the first brand which I bought from a local boutique pet store. The first thing I noticed about the GigaBite bully stick is that it didn't smell bad at all which set it apart from the one I bought locally. I put it right under my nose and couldn't detect the unpleasant odor I detected on the local one. I thought perhaps he wouldn't want a less "fragrant" bully stick but Jett was happy to have the GigaBite and he chewed it with as much enthusiasm as he did the one I bought locally. Jett is an Australian Cattle Dog and they are known to be strong chewers and I was hoping that the GigaBite would last about an hour which was how long the locally purchased one lasted. Unfortunately, the GigaBite bully stick fell apart a little less than half way through and was gone in about half an hour. I think the GigaBite is a perfectly fine bully stick. I appreciate that it's sourced from grass-fed beef and I especially liked that it didn't smell bad. If it had lasted longer and hadn't fallen apart so easily, I would have been glad to give it 5 stars. I probably won't be buying Jett another GigaBite bully stick in the future because the one I can get locally lasts much longer, is comparable in quality and is only a few dollars more.

Not 12". 1 1/2 bully sticks short of the order!
These are my beautiful girls favorite by a long shot and they don't stink the place out. BUT!!! I chucked the latest 15 bully sticks in the usual plastic box where they only ever fit sideways. This time around they all fitted in really easily. I thought: oh oh... Could this be one of the oldest tricks in the book? So I measured them and only one out of the 15 was 12" long. Quite a few are 9", 10, 10 1/2... In total I got 162" 1/2 instead of the 180" ordered. I know it sounds like nit picking but at the price of the stuff I want what was described. All things considered the delivery was near enough to 1 1/2 12" bully sticks short of the order. $9.00 worth. 10% of the total value of the order. These things are obviously cut when they're dry given the straightness of the cuts so they can't say they shrank after being chopped. Which leads me to believe they know what they're doing and they should be more careful next time. So should we the customers. Best of luck to you bully stick buyers.

Great Bully Sticks
You will find these bully sticks enjoyable for your pet, they will provide a treat for your dog while keeping them entertained. These bully sticks are hard enough that your dog will spend some time chewing them but they are soft enough they do no damage to their teeth like some bones. Also, bully sticks are digestible unlike rawhide. These chews are made from all-natural beef pizzle, there are no added ingredients. This is especially helpful for those of you who are concerned with your pets' diets due to food allergies or other health concerns. As the sticks are all natural, there is a slight odor to them when you open the bag, Amazon's description says they are odor free, but there is no such claim on packaging, so I believe Amazon mislabeled the product at some point. As these bully sticks are braided they will work best for your dog if they are prolific chewers, have few or no dental problems, and are a medium or larger dog. The fact that there are three strands of the sticks braided together prolong the enjoyment your pet will get from the sticks and increase the challenge in consuming them. If your dog doesn't need that increased level of challenge the same company also makes straight sticks that are of the same quality. The packaging or the bully sticks is strong plastic that keep the sticks from drying out and are resealable; you will not need any additional containers to store them in to maintain their freshness and integrity. I can't comment on how long exactly the packaging will allow you to keep them fresh as they disappear quickly in my house!GigaBite has become a trusted brand in my house and a favorite with my two dogs. I am thoroughly satisfied with the pizzle treats and have added them to my monthly subscription for my dogs. You can be confident that your dogs will enjoy a safe chewy treat that provides dental benefits and keeps them entertained.

Bad
They are not odor free and they're the first bully stick that ever caused a bowel obstruction in my dog. Thanks for the thousand dollar vet bill and the misery of my dog had to go through. The picture is just the first bill.

Content, peaceful, quiet dogs . . . content, peaceful, quiet me.
This was my first order. The product looked exactly like the picture. The chews might be considered somewhat large for my small dogs, but the dogs gave it their best shot, held them between their front paws, chewed away, and looked content. One chew became unbraided into three separate pieces, which was not a problem in my opinion and probably an advantage given the size of my dogs. I try to limit my purchases to products made in the US (definitely nothing from China). These chews are from Brazil. The package instructs that hands be washed after handling the product, which gave me pause. Neither dog has demonstrated any ill effects, even though they have been working on these for a couple of days. I am not certain I have conscientiously washed my hands after every contact. Perhaps (hopefully) the instruction was made out of an abundance of caution.Update: I have now ordered these five times. My youngest dog (11.8 pounds) chews them apart and then the other two dogs (6 and 12 pounds) each get a strip. Thus far there have absolutely no problems, even though my two oldest dogs have few remaining teeth. They happily slime them to softness and then the younger dog steals them. Is the price increasing?
