An excellent product. Lots of detail and helpful DVD tutorial. Company poor on communication though

J'ai reçu le produit dans un délai raisonnable avant la date prévue, le pourquoi des 3 étoiles, c'est un kit pour débutant, les instructions sont très simple pas vraiment détaillé il ya un cd pour visionner si tu n'a pas de base dans ce domaine tu dois aller sur YouTube pour visionner d'autres kit et voir le travail à effectué et aussi je me suis procuré des livres dans ce domaine afin de trouver les trucs et astuces. Le travail de la coque du bateau demande beaucoup de doigté , tu dois essayé plusieurs astuces pour régler plusieurs problèmes de conception.....c'est un vraie bon défi pour débutant, moi je suis a l'aise, sauf que tu dois avoir une base de travail dans le bois . Si tu aimes les défis c'est pour toi.... C'est un bon kit pour débutant, tu dois être débrouillard et faire quelques recherches. La patience et le travail minutieux est de mise .

j'aime construire des maquettes et celle-ci est complète. Dommage que les explications soient sur un cd, car je n'ai pas de lecteur, donc j'ai du faire appel à des connaissances

I bought thus ship as a gift for my friend anx he was excited! He loves that the ship is wooden!

Purchased as a Christmas gift. My husband Loves it. This is his first wooded ship model. A great hobby, will take time but the end result will be so worth it There's a DVD with instructions but he's gone online to obtain additional understanding for certain steps. You'll need a strong modeling glue but unless you're going to become a serious builder, simple home tools are adequate. Would definitely purchase again.

Again, parts are warped, meaning that they cannot be assembled. I tried soaking them in water it makes no difference. The deck for instance, they want us to bend it into compound curves. In other words it's curving up at the bow and Stern, and it wants to be bent over the bulkheads to the sides. Impossible. This is the second kit from these guys that I have tried to build and I run into the same situation every time. The parts are warped. It cannot be built that way. No matter what they say. The last item I tried to return to them they would not accept because of an incorrect mailing label which was given to me by Amazon. What am I gonna do? The only thing I can do under this situation is use it to start a fire in my wood stove. Never buy from these people again
