Way to small for a tree

All of the screw hooks on the backs fell off...some were off when I opened the package, the rest fell off when hanging. I was able to super glue them back on and they’re sticking so far. Cheaply made. Price should have been 1/2 of what I paid!

It looks nice. Even with the dimensions posted, it seemed smaller than expected. That was fine, the problems though...One eye and the mouth had the plastic backers separate due to faulty glueing. There’s a backer and a cap. Both come apart apparently when not glued properly.. I brought them in and glued them together overnight. Unfortunately when I went back outside the install them, the nose that I had installed had fallen off (again due to the glue separating) and fell/broke on the ground.I do like the face, but plan on re-glueing all the backers to the peices before installing our you’ll end up with broken pieces in the trash like I got.

My daughter picked this face out for our tree. Arrived quickly and packaged well. Shortly after install face parts fell off tree. Found the inserts that hold onto screw heads popped out of the recessed spot for the screw heads. The adhesive holding them in didn’t work. Simple fix to glue in place with gorilla glue, but should not have needed to do this. Otherwise works as intended.

Arrived on time....exactly as pictured and well made. As mentioned by another reviewer, it is a bit smaller than anticipated but that is one of the reasons i bought it. It will be placed on the outside of our large flower pots on the deck ... adds character to the pot and a conversation starter every time. I have a different model which will go back on the tree as this one will fit better on the pot...ordered another one once i saw this one.

He adds character to my tree and everyone compliments him. However, it would be nice if he had ears!!!

Had to glue the insert to hang it as they came off. Looked at all the reviews and folks had the same problem. Pain in the butt, was not able to hang it right away. Will get my handyman to handle it. 3 week later and my handyman could not fix it, he tried to drill a hole into the piece to hang it on the tree and it broke. The fastening backs are terrible and not for hanging on a tree, the surface should be flat for the kind of fastener it has. Its now to late to return it. I would like a credit. :(

We bought this to add a little interest to one of our many oak trees. My husband had to re-glue all of the pieces; without doing that they would have fallen off of the tree. We put it up on the east side of the tree to shelter it from summer storms, but I am not optimistic that it will survive the summer.

The parts that holds the eyes to the tree were not glued correctly and the eyes kept falling on the ground. We used super glue and are waiting to see if it works and how long it'll stay glued especially since it's something that's always going to be outside on a tree. Very disappointed; we were looking forward to having a face on our tree.PS. The super glue seems to have solved the problem for now and we are happy with our tree with a face; just not sure how long it’ll last since it’s out in weather all the time.

I don't like the plastic little fixtures on the back for hanging them to the trees. They all fell out and I had to use epoxy to set them back in. Then they kept falling off the tree anyways. I'm thinking of gluing them to something else then attaching that to the trees.

Looks cute, but hooks on back are a thin plastic that was glued on with a thin layer of non-adhering glue. One hook was actually missing from the box so I had to make a hook and glue on. Be ready for the aggravation of gluing the hooks on when you receive it. I had seen the other reviews with the same complaints before I ordered, but bought it anyway. If the makers would have spent an extra dime in manufacturing these it would be five stars, but since they haven’t listened to their customers, it gets two stars.

Overall I love this thing! I have no clue how long it will last because immediately a piece from the back fell of the nose section. I got glued it back on. Not sure though how well it will hold up long term. We will see. But I do love it!

Very cute but on the small side and quite easily breakable and had to glue parts back in to put nails in to hammer into tree. Did not work out for us at all and we are quite handy usually.

Best looking of the 3 tree faces I ordered, and the least expensive. The hangers had to be glued back into their slots, but grip nicely.

The hooks on the reverse side that hangs onto the nail must've been glued with hot glue because it only took one hot day for the adhesive stop working. I applied some good old gorilla glue on the back and it's good as new. Despite that small flaw, I would buy again. It was still worth it. A whimsical addition to my happy little garden.
