I have used these quite a bit now and they work great. I have had up to 6 ounce sinkers on a 12’ heavy / medium action rod casting about 260 yards, so quite a lot of force has been put on these slides. None have failed.Update 04/16/2016: I have had a few of these where the plastic slides separate when the weight is 5 ounces or heavier. It has not caused the loss of the sinkers but if not noticed it could abrade the line. I have glued them back together with a small dab of marine goop and they work just fine again. I know that seams frugal, but I just can't help myself.

Sure, they're cheaply made and the plastic sometimes comes off after a few casts but even without the plastic the metal eye in the center still slips on the line just as easily as it did before. When you compare the price and quantity to some of the other sinker slides on the market these in my opinion serve their purpose just fine.

nice sinker sliders. good price as well. the beaded models are superior. wont get cranked up thru your tip and shatter a ceramic guide. ive already done this on my favorite uglystick and had to replace the tip. really cheesed me off as had not thought about this and almost ruined my rod. highly visible as well.

Seem to work well. I run the line through the red bead, then tie to another snap swivel. Put a weight on this snap, and put a snell hook on the end of line snap swivel. Probably wears the line less than a bullet weight, but would snag weeds more. I wish the snap was a little bigger, but will work with 1 oz lead sinkers (I forced a 2 oz into it, but that required "tools").

Easy to use very similar to a Carolina rig but it prevents wear and tear on braid and the ease of changing weight sizes without having to cut and retie a new weight to the line.

It works, but sadly every single one broke off after 2 to 3 cast (the plastic part that the line slide through). I wouldn't recommend this to anyone. I suggest pay a few more extra bucks for better quality ones. Kinda disappointing in this item, even payed for expedited shipping on top of original price of item too.

Item arrived on time as stated but still took a month. These clips are smaller than I expected. The clip it self is about 5cm without the swivel. The wire are thin. All are fine for the size except the plastic slider. The two color plastic piece are not glue or molded together. It is press fitted. I can split it apart with my finger nail. I can see how casting any heavier weight over 1oz will split the two half apart. If the two half are molded together? I would give it a better rating. These slider are useless for large fish fishing. It can be fine for small fresh water fishing.

Smaller than expected, haven't tried them on line yet.
