Nice unit needs better instruction booklet
The product works as described and actually pretty quiet. But to be fair I was replacing a saniflo that was 10 years old. The previous home owner was a DIY Hack.... I would give it 5 stars but the provided adapters did not work for any of the normal sized American piping that's installed in the house.... the instruction booklet is laughable at best... 8 pages that really say nothing of consequence of how to install the unit.... all of the figures that are provided in the booklet are on one page and if your eyesight isn't 20/20 then your gonna have trouble reading them

Doesn’t Last
I had a plumber install this pump in our basement toilet. It lasted less than a month.

Great macerator
Bought this to replace a saniplus macerator which suddenly stopped working. I reused all existing plumbing, including the toilet and tank. Adjustments: 1. Water inlet from sink did not align, easily fixed by adjusting pipe from sink to align with water inlet. 2. Waste outlet had to be extended over to the right side of the unit. I extended the existing 3/4” outlet pipe and left it with an angle to prevent backflow. Issues encountered: 1. Not enough clamps. 3 clamps are just not enough for this job. I reused a few from the old macerator. 2. Drip leaks at both water inlet. Will tighten clamps more and provide an update. 3. Louder than the saniplus unit, but nothing crazy. Easy to install and great value

Some tips and review
Works as advertised so far. I first ordered from another vendor (s. venus) and one week later I received a known Broken unit. Then they would not pay for a return. file claimed. So, I ordered from Trupow, showed up 2 days later and works perfectly. I will change this if there are any issues but so far so good. Have upflush working and bathroom finished. Tips: I added a piece from a drain tailpiece (about 1.25") to the inside of the output elbow to allow clamp to securly grab it and make it rigid. The vent pipe and the output pipe are both 1.5". I used 45 degree angles only for output. 90 degree are fine for venting. I attached to a vent on the first floor. I added a cap to the unused end to ensure no leaks. I used 1.5" to 1.25" rubber couplers for the drain from sink and the vent pipe to the unit since the hole was a bit smaller. I added a check valve to ensure no water would fall back into the unit. W/o the extra checkvalve the unit would run over and over. The pipe from commode to mascerator is 3" pvc and attaches to commode via 3" to 4" rubber coupler (bought from Amzn Fernco Inc. P1056-43 4 3-Inch Stock Fernco 1056-43 Coupling). The pipe was purchased form local hardware store and much more rigid then those flexible pipes. Just cut to size and use existing Mascerator coupler and but the 3" to 4"coupler. Easy. See pics.

Reliable
It has been two years hooked up to a toilet, does not miss a beat. Price for reliability and functionality in my opinion is worth it. Better than higher priced analogs.

Low Quality, Buyer Beware.
This pump has failed twice after very few uses. Leaks often due to poor connection points at box & metric sizes rather than american standard sizes for connections. Difficult to install due to strange sizes and fairly loud while running. Neither pump has lasted a year and support from the seller was not able to be reached by phone. If I could give zero stars I would.

THIS PUMP SAVED ME $30,000 DOLLARS!
My basement kitchen sewer/drain pipes completely died. I was faced with the possibility of hacking all of the cement floor (and thus my basement kitchen, bathroom and living space) to find and replace the failing metal pipe. I was going to have to find a place to live AND destroy my home AND fix it up afterward. $30k is obviously conservative. THEN, I found this Trupow pump after learning about some much more expensive Sanif*** products. This Trupow pump fit under my kitchen sink. I ran the waste pipe vertically behind the wall. I took a chance and used .75 inch PVC vertical pipe. Then, for the declining horizontal portion, I used 1 inch pvc. Then, when the pipe exited the house, I coupled the 1 inch pipe to a 1.25 inch pvc. And then I ran that around the side of the house to the cleanout. Everything works beautifully. The Trupow has an automatic switch when it is plugged in. Greywater goes in. The water level reaches a certain point. Trupow turns on. Voila! You have drain water shooting up vertically! SAVED! The trupow works like a champ. Totally reliable. Thanks, Trupow!!

Installed this unit in my basement washroom a year ago and the impeller failed a year lator due to poor plastic and design. The problem I was facing was the rplacement part, which there is non. You will be compelled to buy another unit. This macerator was only utilized to pump out the toilet and nothing else, and my wife and I does not throw toilet paper to the bowl. I fabricated another impeller.
