Makes awesome putty.. not so much slime
If you're looking to make the runny, slightly sticky slime.. this is definitely not the right product. Tried this with two white glues (one being elmers) and two clear glues. No matter the batch size or additives, it turned into a much thicker putty. Not quite the classic "silly putty" that used to come in the little red eggs with that flesh tone.. but not too far from it.I took a star off for this being specifically called slime activator solution and the pictures being misleading. In the pics they have the red colored one. You'd never be able to "play" with that. That's if you add too little and its not set. It would not stick back to itself and you'd be washing that off after. May as well just pour glue with coloring into a bowl and take a crack at that..All of that aside, it does make great putty! If mixed properly, it's not sticky at all and if it lands on carpet, it gives a few seconds of forgiveness to pick it up unlike actual slime. It will become one with clothing.. but at least it washes out. Even when left on skin, it peels right back off making cleanup super easy (dont have to use more of itself to clean it back off bit by bit).Also, you don't need to be scientific with this and measure. Pour however much glue you want to whatever portion you're looking for.. mix in colors, glitter, etc.. after that is completely mixed up.. just pour some of the activator in. Keep adding and stirring until it no longer sticks to the bowl and then knead with your hands. It's done when its not sticky anymore. Kneading it helps discover the pockets of unset glue which are undoubtedly hiding inside. Excess activator can be drained and will dry from the putty as you knead it. Can't really mess this one up.
