Great format - lovely book and paper. Some of the fill in stuff is a bit redundant and hard to make fit when you get a rescue dog at 12 weeks.

Bought this for my daughter and her Pugsund, she seemed to really enjoy it but has lost interest in it as of late maybe she will use it more as the dog gets older

The Dog Journal by Pathway Creations is a unique item that reminds me of my children's baby books when they were small. Now that my children are grown, Riley is like my child in a way, and I want to give her the best care possible. There is a lot of information contained in the Journal that will help me do just that. It is laid out in such a way, you can keep track of all your pets' accomplishments as they grow from puppy stage, and all their antics, to adulthood, and their varying needs. There are lots of pages for pictures but it's something more than a baby book. It's a complete life journal to record all your pets' life stages. There is a place to record important medical information and boarding instructions which is so vital to your pets' wellness. With my boy's baby books, I look back on them from time to time with fond memories that are recorded for a lifetime of enjoyment. I'll be able to look back on Riley's life with the same enjoyment. It's easy to love the Dog Journal because it seems the creators of this keepsake know first hand how easy it is to love your dog and have organized it with that same care and forethought.

I have seen other Dog Journals that simply have blank pages. That makes it hard for me because I am not one of those creative scrapbook people. However, this Pathway Creations book is a "Guided" Journal that helps me capture important information about my miniature Schnauzer, Pepsi. There are places in the book where I can enter information about her personality, her health history, emergency contact names and phone numbers and can also use the book as a place to gather her pictures. There's even a "Keepsake Envelope" in the back of the book and another page where I can stamp her footprint(s) - it's amazing to see how small she was when I first brought her home.Another important feature they don't talk about is you can actually buy additional, full sets of insert pages that are already hole-punched, in case you have multiple pets. These pages can be easily added to the book because it has a clip-binder that you can open/close.All in all, this Dog Journal guides me through how to capture important information that I would normally not even think about, but would definitely need in an emergency.Great job to whoever developed this product!

What a great dog journal!! It is so well made and contains so many opportunities to include all the information I have for my dog. I am a new puppy owner and now can track everything as he grows from his weight, food, treats, toys, grooming, health records, etc. It has pages to put contact and medical info and many other great categories to create wonderful memories I can reflect on. The journal even includes some helpful web links on training! I am so happy that I have found such a perfect dog journal and would recommend this to all dog owners!
