First off this unit is too high power for most household electrical. It will probably blow your fuses. I was never able to actually use it as my house is apparently too weak to run the heating element. However even if I could, I don’t think I would. The construction is very flimsy and I have a feeling the entire unit would get extremely hot if turned on. It has absolutely no insulation to keep the exterior from getting hot. This product is only ideal for use as a joke. If you want to give a friend, or perhaps an enemy, a Cornballer that will burn all their fingerprints off, this is the fryer for you. Everyone else, buy something else.

despite many people getting bad units, or complaining about the "flimsy construction". i ordered it off wish for 29 dollars with a 50% off coupon. the 2500 watt unit is riding the line for regular home output, but still manages to function perfectly fine for me, in fact id say the heating capacity is incredible, in under a minute the oil was hot enough to eminate heat... and it took 10 minutes to heat 1.5 gallons of oil to 375, and the heating capacity is able to handle quite a large amount of food, atleast enough to feed 3 people at once. so if you get a working unit, id reccomend buying the zokop off wish, and finding a good deal.... id say atleast from personal experience its worth atleast 70 dollars to me... yet i scraped it up for 29. never been more happy with a purchase, especially since i love deep frying, and standard walmart units take forever to heat up and the heating capacity is lousy, making for rather inconsistent cooking depending on how much you load it up, which is why i preffered gas stovetop with a thermometer, but thats messy and tedious. id rather set it and forget it. plus even with a gas quick burner, and about 2 liters of oil the heating capacity is lousy in comparison.tldr, if you get a working unit, its amazing, unparalleled heating capacity for the price, and can cook very large amounts at once. also buy it off wish and use any monthly coupons and find the lowest priced one, thats within the US. id reccomend making multiple wish accounts so you can try your luck of the draw on the coupon multiple times for the best discount. all in all for 29 dollars im extremely satisfied with my purchase, and id say its worth far more than that.

Brought this product to put on my food truck, I put a basket of fries in and it wouldn't get hot enough to cook them. A very let down on my grand opening!!

Just purchased & put oil in it & it won't get hot! I've been trying to call the company to no avail. now it's full of oil. I'm so disgusted!
