The concept is great. It is very difficult to attach to the aquarium and is prone to get wet when and where it is not suppose to. The calibration button is really poorly engineered. Basically, it has the info you want in a package you will hate. Bottom line is it worth the money. NO. It isn't worth the price because it is a poorly designed product. After 48 years of fish keeping trust me, I know what works and what doesn't Don't waste your money on a poorly designed product that is too fussy.

While this meter is a bit difficult to calibrate it is worth the effort!! I do understand the complaints as the meter does not fit well on rimmed aquariums however it fits perfectly on my rimless aquariums. I have been able to use it on my rimmed tanks as well, I just file a bit of the inside edge on the rim for it to fit. I imagine at some point they might do a redesign and fix this so it can be used easily with all aquariums. I have actually purchased 6 meters. They are so valuable in tracking ph, temperature, and TDS especially when keeping shrimp. I regularly check all of my levels and every time the meter matches within .2 to .1. This meter gives me peace at mind. I can easily monitor any changes in the parameters daily.

Great product, it works perfectly every time and is super accurate! I am a very experienced aquarist and love this product. Also very impressed with how easy it is to use!

The clamp isn't wide enough to fit over the plastic edge of the 55 gallon tank. Found this out after doing all the chemical stuff to calibrate it. Wicked disappointed.

I thought this would be great to get instant readings on demand. It is WAY OFF Everything!!! the pH and ppm are off quite a bit and for fish life that matters a lot. For example, i tested it side by side with a regular pH digital reader should be 7.1 and AAM says 10.4 . That would be a huge disaster very hard to tell which one is really right and causing lots of stress. have contacted several times to send replacement with no response buyer beware price is increasing daily.
