Q: If I plug the hose back into a tool after using the remote does it revert to auto mode? Or do I have to go back to the vac and reset?

Set up the remote once and you can plug and and unplug all you want. I have multiple remotes set up for the same vac - different hoses and stand alone by the tool. They are so convenient!!

Q: Does this also work on the Mini?

Yes I have the mini ct and it works great.

Q: Can multiple remotes control one extractor that is outfitted with the Bluetooth system?

Only one battery pack at a time and no more then 5 remote controls can be paired simultaneously to one mobile dust extractor. When the max number of devices is reached then the device that has not been used for the longest time is deleted.

Q: Does it only work with the festool dust extractor?

The festool dust extractor has to have a specific Festool receiver module installed in it. This receiver is not installed in the factory, but sold as a module that fits into an enclosure on the Fetologie dust extractor.
