Always wonder its 2023 and I relate to and enjoy reading a book written nearly 7 decades ago!!Well perry mason as a criminal lawyer lives upto his reputationWhat appears to be a case of negligent driving turns out to be more complex and soon a spate of murders with the murderer attempting to kill perry as wellDont miss reading this one

an engaging whodunnit
The case of haunted husband is top tier perry mason. The mystery at the heart of the novel is well set up and grabs your attention from the word go. The repartee between the characters is witty and sharp , the investigative procedure is never sluggish and the book has a well hidden murderer(always a high point for detective fiction) HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

One more thriller!!!
Well what a book!!!! Though a bit sad but amazing thrilling end.Out of the box!!!Again u loved the tactics of perry Mason to come out of a difficult situation!!!

Convoluted plot
Excessively convoluted, Mixed up plot. Characters, names get mixed up. Not usual Erle Stanley Gardner level. Quite disappointing. Hence available on UNLIMITED free.

How Mason concludes a story is best of all available probabilities. Always thrills me. I am a die hard Perry Mason fan.

I admire Erle Stanley Gardner for the research that he does and the finesse with which he writes.Very engrossing .Would like to recommend to all those who love reading detective novels( with a legacy touch)
