What a good movie! Of course it stars James Gandolfini and Tom Hardy, so the quality of the story and acting are no surprise.James Gandolfini again takes us into the underworld of organized crime. But this time, he's no boss. At least, not anymore. And that doesn't sit well with him.Tom Hardy is his nephew, who has been in the life since his youth. But he has no ambition to rise in the ranks or become boss. It's the life he has and knows, but it's not who he is. However, he has been shaped by that world. You don't survive swimming with sharks without also being dangerous.

Tight, taut, slow-burner thriller. One of the rare films that is true to its source material, the book on which it is based. Except for some minor changes (eg movie is based in Brooklyn, book based in Boston). Excellent cast. If you love Tom Hardy, this is a must. Also, Gandolfini's final film.

Good movie

Masterclass in acting by the leads, and the cast as a whole. What could have been dry and boring turned into something that was compelling to watch. Nicely done.
