Mike MuirSuicidal Tendencies: Olympic Auditorium

I think this is a great DVD as far as musical performances go.The camera work isn't professional and doesn't show particular musicians close up when they are cutting loose, ie. wrong camera selections at times. I guess the camera work adds to the real punkness of the feature which, I admit is a pretty cool effect, my main let down was that when Steve Brunner or one of the guitarists did a solo, you couldn't see a good angle of them doing it.The only other issue with this DVD is the audio mixdown - too much vocals at times, not enough crowd mics/volume and the general mix is all over the show. Sadly, I expected much more of the ST crewOn the other hand, any Suicidal fan should have this DVD. It is a great selection of songs, including a No Mercy track. And it is IMO, one of the better punk/music DVDs I have seen (not limited to 3 cameras etc. and the cameras are moving around the stage for some real alternative angles)

This is the first DVD I have seen from ST. I have been a fan of them since their very firstalbum and always wanted to see them live but never did. Well this shows what they wereabout. The players on this DVD are top notch musicians and Mike is just Mike on this dvd.So if you liked Sucicidal Tendencies but never really knew what they were all about thisdvd will explain why they had an ST Army following. Thoughout the dvd Mike talks aboutwhat they set out to do and why and explains fully what their intent was.This is one top notch dvd and then music is at a level far above most punk bands. Todayspunk bands (if you want to call them that) can not hold a candle to this raw and powerfulltalented bunch of guys.

Wasnt what i expected love old svhool suicidal

I never got to see suicidal live so this is the next best thing. Even though it's 5 years old both old and new fans will enjoy this dvd. I don't know why bands like suicidal and icp never seem to come to nyc. Anyway buy it

A good watch for any ST fan. Would've enjoyed more scenes involving the crowd, however. Overall a good concert DVD. The sound was good as well.

olympic auditorium is a epic venue, tough to look at the venue today, should have been declared a historical landmark

It was awesome being able to see the footage of me breaking my leg at this show (last song)

Arrived before estimated time...But really 4:3 aspect and stereo sound?! This is great ST edition in spite of crap video/sound (four stars because of that) as Cyco Miko is one and only and worth having...
